The Promises Of God Can Never Be Terminated In Your Life
Greetings members of the kingdom family.
I want to share the scriptures I read earlier this morning with you.
So Today, I studied the book of Joshua chapter 1:1-9. I will be using the King James version of the bible to read.
Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass, that the LORD spoke unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
Moses, my servant, is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that I have given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success.
Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
In these passages, God was telling Prophet Joshua what to do after the demise of Moses. He told him to lead the people of God across Jordan unto the land he would show him.
The most striking thing about this passage is that God promised to give any land they set their feet on to them in verse three.
In verse five, God told them that no one shall be able to stand before them, all the days of their lives. He promised to be with them, as he was with Moses.
In verses six and seven, he told them to be strong and of good courage. In verse eight, he urges them not to let the book of the law, which is the bible, depart from their mouths. They were asked to meditate on it day and night. That by so doing, they would make their ways prosperous, and they shall have success.
In verse nine, as the last, he told them not to be afraid or dismayed, that he would be with them wherever they went.
What a great promise. This is a new month, and I pray that the presence of God go with you wherever you go. He who started a good work in you, will finish it.
Thank you for stopping by.
Amen! God is always faithful! Thank you for your post today! God bless.
