My Weekend Experience: Celebrating My Cousin's Send- forth Ceremony

Good evening, members of the weekend experiences community. I am so excited to have you here in this space. I welcome you all to my blog.

I want to share my Weekend Experience with you. It's been a while since I shared my weekend experiences here in this great community. So I've decided to do that this weekend.

So, this weekend has been a fruitful weekend for me, I don't know about you. So this weekend was my cousin's send-off ceremony.

We've been planning for this for so long, so this weekend everything worked in our favor. My cousin was working as an apprentice in a hair salon. She has been there for over two years.

So after her years of learning, her boss decided to do a send-off party for her. So we all went out to back her up.

Personally, I was in the kitchen with my aunt. I did everything I needed to do just to make sure the food was ready on time.

The dishes we prepared were jellof rice, fried rice, and one of our local dishes called "afere afang". It's a soup in my community.

We also fried meats which we used to make the occasion good.

The weather was so conducive for everyone. Though at some point it started raining, and I was like, God please I need a conducive weather condition.

The rain was so heavy that we ran halter scaleter just to make sure certain things were kept in peace so that the rain won't soak.

At one point, I was so sad and angry at the same time. But that didn't stop him from being God. At his appointment time, the heavy rainfall ceased and the sun began to show forth again.

I was so excited because I thought it wouldn't go on well but I appreciate God for what he did for us.

So the ceremony began fully, and one of the things that they did was that her colleagues sang for her, while she moved to her place.

After everything, she was asked to kneel. Then her boss laid her hand on her and prayed for her.

The last thing they did was the presentation of the certificate and gifts. She was given a very big certificate, and everyone applauded her for her great achievement. It was indeed a great ceremony.

I appreciate God for making the ceremony a success. And I also appreciate everyone who came out to honor her on her send-off day.

Thank you, everyone, for visiting my blog.
I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
