Learn From Your Mistakes

Good morning everyone. You'll welcome to my blog. This morning, I want to share my experience with you on what I title learned from your mistakes.

You know, in a natural setting, a lot of people do not learn from their mistakes, but rather, they blame people for being the reason behind their mistakes.

Mistakes are those occurrences that occur as a result of a careless attitude and being less concerned about certain things.

Mistakes, as they say, are inevitable. That is to say, humans can't survive without making one or two mistakes in a day.

Mistakes are unplanned occurrences; it doesn't send a notification to anyone when they want to occur. We as humans must always be alert so that we don't make mistakes.

But can a mistake be noticed?
This is a question that one of my friends once asked me.

Well, mistakes can be easily noticed by the people around you, and even you can easily realize that you've made a mistake.

Why is it that each time someone is speaking, suddenly the person realizes he or she has used the wrong vocabulary? Before you know it, the person will change whatever he was saying, and make use of the correct vocabulary.

This entails that humans always realize they've made a mistake. But the problem they have is to admit that they've made a mistake and try as much as they can to learn from their mistakes.

Learning from our mistakes is very crucial because it shapes us and also helps us to act responsibly whenever we're called upon to perform a certain duty.

Anyone afraid to learn can't grow spiritually and physically. We must learn from our mistakes every day, which will help us to adjust a little.

Mistakes, at times, make someone have a sound mind that differs from another person's own. Never display your intelligence when it has to do with learning from your mistakes.

You made them so be the one to correct them yourself. People have turned mistakes into a style, like a normal way of behavior.

To the point that if you notice someone has made a mistake, and you try to point out those mistakes to the person so that he or she could learn from it.

But it's always a shameful thing to realize that instead of the person learning from his mistake, he kept on doing it in a way that replicated his ignorance.

Sentiment is not needed when you want to learn a new thing. It takes someone with a humble and understanding heart to submit while learning.

Accepting your fault and working towards perfecting it is not a bad idea either. So why are some people making it look as if learning from our mistakes is somehow difficult to do?

Remember, you do not need to buy a textbook and read everything that is there before you can learn from your mistakes. It doesn't require your money to do that. The only thing it requires is your mindset and your humility.

Be humble so that you can grow. Don't come into the world with ignorance and die with ignorance. What's the need for your existence? We all came into the world to fulfill our purposes, but how can this purpose manifest if we can't do the needful?

I want to summarize my write-up by sharing my personal experience with you. When I was about twelve years old, there was one attitude I had which I thought was helping me.

What happened was that each time my mom asked me to wash my dad's clothes, I would be very annoyed. I hated washing my dad's clothes. But if someone asked me why I did those things, I can't explain.

That continued for a long time. So one day, my mom called me. She sat me down and began to teach me what I needed to know.

She said that the behavior I had was disgusting. She told me that there would be a time when I wouldn't stay with them anymore. And at that time I will be at my husband's house.

She let me know that I would be the one doing everything for my husband. I didn't understand what she meant by that until I left for school. When I started school, I stayed with my aunt, and behold, I was the one washing her husband's and children's clothes.

I did that with ease because I listened to what my mom told me, and I was ready to learn from my mistakes. I can tell you now that I don't have any problem.

You can also do the same. It's not too late for you to learn from your mistakes. Take a bold step, and God will order your steps.
