GIVING WHOLEHARTEDLY BRINGS BLESSING
Hello everyone, I welcome you once more. Today I want to share my experience with you on what I caption ‘’giving wholeheartedly brings blessing’’.
I am sharing with you the experience I had two years ago, and each time I recall that incident I’m always happy with myself because I made the right decision. It was on a Tuesday evening and I was preparing to leave for church service, I took my bath and did all the necessary things before leaving.
When I arrived at the church premises, I was asked to back up in songs and I did as I was commanded. That evening service was so powerful and a lot of miracles took place, and I was truly convinced that there’s God in Redeem Christian Church Of God.
Everyone was blessed by the message that was preached to us by our pastor. Immediately after we finished the evening service, we had a brief choir rehearsal before we all departed.
When I arrived home, my aunty asked me how the service went, and I told her God honored his name and she was so excited.
My aunty asked me to change up and assist her in the kitchen to prepare one of our local dishes here in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The soup is called editan soup, it’s so nutritious and natives of this state can attest to it. I decided to help her prepare the soup that night.
After that, she dished it into three different breakable plates, and I took mine and my sister and brother took theirs. We all ate to our satisfaction, and I went to her room to thank her.
One minute after our dinner, I decided to watch one of my favorite movies, but while I was still enjoying it something astonishing happened to me.
A friend of mine called me about past midnight, and I began to wonder why he called me at that time of the night. Truly speaking, I didn’t want to pick up his call but a voice mused within saying he must have been in trouble so you need to pay attention to what he had to say, and I yielded to that voice.
I picked up his call and he said to me Lovely friend of mine I responded, but the way he sounded made me believe what the voice told me. I asked him what the challenge was, and he told me he was very hungry for the little money he had, he used it to settle his mum’s hospital bill, and according to him, she’s the only person left for him.
I felt his pain so I told him I had just one thousand naira in my account. I promised to send him five hundred naira and also remain five hundred naira for myself. So I asked him to wait for a minute and he did, I was able to transfer the money to him, and he called me and thanked me.
I did that wholeheartedly without knowing that would be a source of Blessing to me. I was praying to God to help me send people that would bless me with money so I could pay some of my departmental dues, but I never knew God was about to do a new thing.
A few minutes later, I got an alert on my phone, and my bank account was credited with five thousand naira and I was shocked. I had to call the sender just to find out if it was a mistake.
When I called him he said to me that he once asked for my account number and I gave him, but since then he has forgotten to keep to his promise, but that fateful day he traveled to my village and got all my bank details from my parent and that was why I got the alert, I thanked him
.
I was so happy, the next day was Wednesday so I went to school and paid all my departmental dues.
In conclusion, what God cannot do doesn’t exist, had it been I refused to give out the little I had, it would have been difficult for me. The little seed I sowed, turned out to be a blessing to me.
So I want to encourage everyone who is reading this post, to always try as much as possible to give whole wholeheartedly as that can turn out to be a blessing to you and even to your unborn children.
