Creating A Paper Umbrella

avatar

Good morning, members of the DIYHUB community.I welcome everyone to my blog.

I want to share my today's handicraft with you.I made a paper umbrella. It was very simple to make, and it's steps were simple too.

The materials i used were green cardboard paper, a scissors, a pencil and a gum.

Here is my final result

Below are the steps I took

First step : I used a scissors to carve out part of the cardboard paper.

Second step: I drew a circle on the cardboard paper using a pencil with a bottle cover.

Third step: I used a scissors to carve out the circles I drew earlier.

Fourth step: I folded the papers into two

Fifth step: I opened it, and I applied gum on it, before i folded it the second time.

Sixth step: I applied gum on it before i stick them to each other.

Seventh step: I finally made my umbrella.

It was a nice experience though it took me some hours before I could come up with this.I picked interest in making this when I had the opportunity to when someone did it.

Though it looked strange to me, but that didn't stop me from giving it a try.I made a decision that no matter what, I'm going to try it.

And today, I'm able to do it. It might not be as perfect as hers but it's worth commendable.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
