Celebrating the 2025 Children's Program In My Church
Good morning all members of the Ecency community.
Today, I would be sharing my view about the just-concluded Children's program at my church yesterday.
It was a great day, and the children came out in their beautiful attire.
They looked beautiful, and they made the program colourful.
During their first rehearsal, attendance was minimal, and not encouraging at all.
Personally, I wanted to give up on them, but then I had to follow them with care.
Saturday was their final rehearsal, and fasting as well. I saw so many children coming out to partake in the fasting, and I was so excited.
So after the fasting, we had a brief rehearsal on Sunday, which happened to be the grand final of the 2025 Christian Fellowship Evangelical Nigeria children's program.
Sunday was hot; you need to see how two of my beautiful children led in praise and worship; the devil was in trouble.
At some point, I began to wonder who taught them how to sing, and also how to maintain one voice while singing.
It's indeed a mystery. Children are perfect gifts from God, so no one should underestimate them. They can surprise you any time, and any day.
Everything was handled by the children including the message. Immediately after the message, the program began to run fully.
All of them recited their memory verses, some sang to the glory of God, while others who couldn't say anything kept dancing for the lord
Their welcome song was a great master piece. Their performances still baffles me.
I know I and other children's teachers did well by teaching them, but what they did yesterday was top-notch. They handled the stage so well.
One of the children surprised me. She seems not to know anything, but when the microphone was handed over to him, the whole church was on fire.
Everything moved on smoothly till the end. After the program, a vote of thanks was given by the overall children's leader and our pastor.
Guess what! I saw my fellow children's teachers coming in with plates of rice. I didn't expect that, but I have to believe what I saw.
When I heard about it, I thought it was a joke, but not until they gave me mine. I had to sit well and enjoy my rice, in the presence of my father.
I ate it with joy because the Lord was faithful. After all our visitors had gone home, rain fell.
How do you treat children in your various denominations?
Do you give them time to express themselves? Or you think they aren't worth it?
You can never imagine how proud and happy you will be, when they're able to express themselves publicly.
Someone could see the potential in them, and sponsor them to any level they want to be in life.
Please allow the children to showcase their talents, and stop making those talents die inside of them.
Thank you all for stopping by.
