A Book Review On The Topic: In God's Image
Greetings evening members of the Hive book club. I welcome you all to my blog.
I will be doing my review on the topic that says "In God's Image. This topic is written by Terri Pearson.
He talks about dominion. That as children of God, we were created to dominate the earth and not to be victims of circumstances.
According to him, all humans are destined and also designed to be rulers on this earth. As Christians, we are supposed to operate powerfully through prayer.
Prayers serve as an act of dominion. The main purpose of prayers is to find the will of God concerning a certain situation.
This could be done by holding onto faith and refusing to let go until the natural world submits to the spiritual truth and God's will is carried out in that situation.
In Genesis 1: 26-28. God created man in his image, and he ordered him to have dominion over everything he created.
God valued man so much. When he put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, he gave them some instructions. God didn't just put man in the garden and forget about him.
He always goes there to commune with man, walk with man, and also fellowship with man. But something happened when Adam submitted himself to satan. He disobeyed God, and God's light departed from him.
Since that day, man has died physically and spiritually.
Romans 5 12. It says, " By one man sin entered into the world, and death by sins; and so death passed upon all men.
Adam was meant to represent God well in everything he does. But he missed the opportunity, and because of the mistake he made, the whole of mankind is suffering.
Stay safe and be blessed.
Thank you all.
