TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN: GREED AND SELFISHNESS
Selfish
This toy is mine, no one touches it!
Greed
Hmm, what an interesting toy, it will be mine!
The word feeling is usually associated with a positive action, however, there are human characteristics that invalidate this understanding. Greed is something terrible, the desire to possess everything that pleases and/or admires you, this feeling makes people commit the worst atrocities to achieve their goal, the limits imposed by society are easily broken, people with this nature believe they are above the law.
Another feeling that makes humans mediocre is selfishness, these are people who do not exude confidence, their interests will always be above everything and everyone. Empathy is far from these individuals, they tend to have paranoid moments, especially when they are not the focus, contempt for others ends up becoming something normal, they criticize when someone makes some progress, their daily routine is associated with egocentrism.
Despite the negative content of the feelings mentioned, it is possible to extract something positive from these situations: when greed generates competition, it is possible to transform this feeling into positive moments. Whether in the job market or even in a simple classroom, greed makes some people overcome themselves and grow mentally to achieve their long-awaited desire. Although selfishness is a horrible feeling, it is something beneficial to its bearer. This type of person usually takes great care of themselves, whether it is related to their health or even their appearance, they usually take care of their own body. "I will mention something I heard in a lecture a long time ago: there is such a thing as healthy selfishness. I don't know if it was just an expression of the speaker, but in my opinion, it is associated with one's own well-being."
These feelings are common and impact the social environment, learning to deal with such situations is a bit complex. Having your emotions balanced is the biggest key to having an interpersonal relationship with selfish and/or greedy people. Society is not prepared to deal with these situations. Humans, for the most part, are emotionally fragile. Harsh words, exaggerated actions, and excessive cultural contexts that promote depreciation of next lead most people to uncontrolled despair. "Yes, the world becomes a toy in the hands of some people. She think that, in their personal greed, the Earth is their playground."
In my case, I am used to dealing with all kinds of people and situations. I have direct contact with most of the people in the place where of the city I live. Over time, you take so many hits that you learn to create mental and social shields. These conditions cease to be a problem. You can coexist with such individuals peacefully. Democratic society ends up prevailing in the face of the facts.
