Being betrayed is like looking at this street: an empty space!
The infidelity it is the act of betraying a partner in a relationship, undermining trust and initiating a period of instability in the couple's life. Simply put, it's the same as destroying the rules and agreements created by a couple when starting a relationship.
Infidelity is a complex issue; there are differing opinions about what truly constitutes an act of infidelity. Betrayal is viewed differently depending on perspectives. For some, simply looking at someone of the opposite sex with a look of interest is already considered a vile act against the union; for others, for betrayal to truly exist, a sexual act must be consummated. It depends on the analysis of the people involved; a simple hug can be considered betrayal if both agree that they shouldn't hug people of the opposite sex. I'm using a simple approach, related to men and women, but this applies to all types of couples.
In my humble opinion, infidelity doesn't require consummating a carnal act. The moment you're left aside and priorities change, other men or women become more important than you, and you literally feel your other half has moved on to another reality, there's a breach of the union contract.
Personally, I can say that I would never stay with someone who was unfaithful. Staying together doesn't destroy the feeling of distrust and betrayal; there will always be discord, fear, and negative thoughts. The way you look at someone will never be the same; you can't rebuild a feeling that has been destroyed.
Trust is the foundation of a relationship. I give 100% of myself to the person by my side. Breaking that bond is like the end of a journey.

A infidelidade é o ato de trair o parceiro em um relacionamento, minando a confiança e iniciando um período de instabilidade na vida do casal. Em termos simples, é o mesmo que destruir as regras e os acordos estabelecidos pelo casal ao iniciar um relacionamento.
A infidelidade é uma questão complexa; existem opiniões divergentes sobre o que realmente constitui um ato de infidelidade. A traição é vista de maneiras diferentes, dependendo da perspectiva. Para alguns, o simples fato de olhar para alguém do sexo oposto com interesse já é considerado um ato vil contra a união; para outros, para que a traição realmente exista, um ato sexual deve ser consumado. Depende da análise das pessoas envolvidas; um simples abraço pode ser considerado traição se ambos concordarem que não devem abraçar pessoas do sexo oposto. Estou usando uma abordagem simples, relacionada a homens e mulheres, mas isso se aplica a todos os tipos de casais.
Na minha humilde opinião, a infidelidade não exige a consumação de um ato carnal. No momento em que você é deixado de lado e as prioridades mudam, outros homens ou mulheres se tornam mais importantes do que você, e você literalmente sente que sua outra metade seguiu em frente para outra realidade, há uma quebra do contrato da união.
Pessoalmente, posso dizer que jamais ficaria com alguém que fosse infiel. Permanecer juntos não elimina o sentimento de desconfiança e traição; sempre haverá discórdia, medo e pensamentos negativos. A maneira como você olha para alguém nunca mais será a mesma; você não pode reconstruir um sentimento que foi destruído.
A confiança é a base de um relacionamento. Eu me entrego 100% à pessoa ao meu lado. Romper esse laço é como o fim de uma jornada.
