What Style of Music is More Popular :- Afri-InLeo Initiative 51

It has been a great opportunity to improve my writing skill since the beginning of this initiative. I give kudos to the admin in the leo finance and our dear community admin @afri-tunes for this initiative . And the topic given to us is so amazing.

I have been writing on the topic from the beginning of this initiative, and again today, I want to join the train for this week episode of Afri-Inleo initiative 51 which says "What style of music is more popular". Music means a lot of things to different people, but to me, its as important as oxygen is to living. Last week it was "Life without Music" and I was able to define music, metion some of the genres in music and I later wrote on the essentials of quality music.

Music is a unique part of human life throughout the whole world, And the human interest in vocal and instrumental music is growing daily. People have been using music in various ways including mourning the dead and also for entertainment.

Music from times is like a way of expressing how we feel from within us. And music also have the power to touch our emotion and affect our moods, that is the more reason why a sad song can bring tears out of the eyes of the listeners. Also music can also bring back the old memories, this happens when we listened to a song that was trending during our childhood and now as an adult, such songs will take you back to those days.

**What Style of Music is more popular

The styles which is also called the genres of music and it can be defined as a cathegory that tells us the the type of a music been played. can be decided based on

The usefulness of the music
The Era of the music
The culture or place of the music

Some of the popular and common genres are:

• Hip hop
  This is a category of music that has a strong beat backing, it often has a rhyming and chanting that are in Rhythm. An example of a hip hop artiste is Davido, Snoopy dogg and so on.

• Classical Music
  This can of music is widely known for it complexity in harmony and melody.. They often come with many instruments playing at the same time (Orchestra)

• The folk and traditional Music
  Folk music are locally composed song or instrumental performances for local ritual purposes or for entertainment. It also include story telling.

• The electronic Dance music
  Even though this genres of music look new, it is like the renovation or the modern day disco music. They are like those days club music, especially now that we now have DJs who mixed beat for club entertainment.

• The R and B Music
  The R and B Music which means the Rhythm and blues are music that emanated from the African American people in the 50s. It also has some of the features of hip hop, jazz and pop music.
