Weekend Engagement Week 273// A Mentor, A Teacher and a Friend

There are two Hive users that I really like the most. The first person is someone I consider not only as a mentor but also as a teacher and a friend. I met him for the first time in March this year at a wedding, he was invited by my music director to come assist in playing the trumpet and from that day till now, he has been such a gentle and cool person. He is a man of principles and carries himself with so much calmness. He was the one who introduced me to Hive and I must say he has been the best teacher I could ever ask for.

From the very beginning, he took his time to explain everything I needed to know about Web3 and Hive in particular, the principles, the rules, and the regulations. He onboard me, guiding me step by step on how to create a post and monitoring my posts to see if there is any plagiarism or AI writing. Whenever I get something wrong, he corrected me and whenever I got confused, he was always there to explain.

There was even a time I needed help with something late at night around 2am. I sent him a message on WhatsApp, thinking he would probably reply the next morning since it was late and he might probably be sleeping but to my amazement, he responded immediately as if he was waiting for my message and guided me through. That's how committed and caring he can be.

Beyond being a good teacher, he is also fun to be around, but at the same time, he is firm with his principles. If you cross his line too much, he will ignore you and act as if you don’t exist. Yet, the beautiful thing about him is that once you realize your mistake and apologize, he will forgive and treat you like nothing happened. I honestly see him as the best mentor, teacher, and friend anyone could ever have. He is also good with the musical instruments especially the base and the trumpet and that's one thing that really draws my attention to him.

The second person I admire is a singer on Hive. She has such a beautiful voice and a great talent for writing and singing. Every time I watch her sing, I find myself full of admiration for the gift she has. Her songs are inspiring and her passion for music is something that always captures my attention.

These two Hive users hold a special place in my heart, and I am truly grateful for the inspiration and guidance I get from them.
