Phone Photograph Contest 59//A Walk Through Silence and colour.
Hello Hivers. I'm glad to be making my first post here in this amazing community. It's a beautiful day and I'm having an amazing day, I hope you're having the same too?. It's a photography contest and I'm excited to share my entry. I'm @joshel
Yesterday I decided to go for a short walk after having a stressed day. The day had been long, and I needed some fresh air. As I stepped outside, the sky caught my attention. It was a beautiful shade of blue sky with white cloud , wide and calm. It looked like a painting above me. I couldn't help but to paused and took a picture.
As I walked further, the empty road stretched far ahead, at some point it was silent and still. It was just me and my footsteps. I took a photo of the road, wanting to remember how calm and open everything felt in that moment. The road reminded me that even when life feels empty, it can still lead to somewhere.
Not far from the road, I came across a small patch of red and pink flowers growing wild by the side. Their colors stood out so brightly against the plain background. They looked like nature’s way of smiling. I bent down, pick some of the flowers and captured their beauty.
A little further, I reached a farmland. It was just bare, no plants, no green, just an open soil. To many, it might seem like nothing, but to me, it looked like a place full of hope, just waiting to grow when rain drops on it. I took a photo of the land, thinking about how every seed starts from a place like this.
Towards evening, just as I was about to head back home, the sun began to set. The sun dipped low, spreading warm shades of orange, pink, and gold across the sky, as if the world was saying goodbye to the day. It was just breath taking, and I stood calm, taking it all in before capturing the final photo of the day.
That short walk gave me more than just pictures, it gave me peace, the beauty of nature, something to reflect on, and lifted up the stress of the day. Sometimes, even the simplest walks we take can turn into the most meaningful journeys.
