My Garden//The Joy of having it directly behind my backyard

There's this feeling joy that comes from having a garden directly behind my backyard. Every time I step outside and see the plants growing, it just gives me that joy.

The feeling of knowing that I don’t need to always rush to the market to buy tomatoes or vegetables because they are right there directly at the corner of the house, just few steps away from my kitchen.

My mom asked me to go to the garden and get some vegetables and tomatoes that are ripe for her to prepare for meal. I went and saw some that are ripe, plucked it and brought them for her.

One of the biggest advantages of having a garden directly from my backyard is the supply of fresh vegetables directly from the plant.

Like the tomatoes I plucked and the spinach, they are not just fresh but also natural, free from harmful chemicals that most market people usually apply on the produce to ripen them fast or to preserve them in case they are not bought immediately.

Having this garden at home has also save me from some little expenses. Going to the market every few time to buy those vegetables can be expensive, especially when the prices of those produce go up. But with a garden behind my house, I spend less on purchasing most of those vegetables.

Even during times when things are costly in the market, I know that I can always harvest something from the garden. No transportation expenses as well.

Having this garden at home is very important to me because most of those vegetables in the market are grown with chemicals and preservatives which can be unhealthy for the body and can actually harm the body but with this at home, I get produce that are free from these harmful chemicals and preservatives.

The joy of harvesting and eating what I planted myself cannot be compared with the once that I bought from the market. At least I know where I got them from unlike the once from the market where I don't know where it comes from.
