Love & Relationship// Love fade if not nurtured

When we plant a tree and take good care of it very well, we water it often, clear off weeds around it, apply manue to it and it obtain the necessary sunlight energy, that plant will grow very well, the leaves will be green and fresh and it I'll produce fruits but when we don't take care of it, we don't water it and live it just like that, the plant will began to die off gradually, the leaves will change it's colour and it might eventually die off, that's how love is..

At the beginning of a relationship, everything seems new, the feelings is high, the spark of love is strong, people put on their best behaviour, the attention, the time and communication is so special, even the energy and effort put to keep the relationship going smoothly is so strong as if both partners involved in the relationship should not live eachother site a bit but as time goes on, most relationship start growing cold, the energy and effort that was there to keep the relationship going smoothly becomes weak, people start getting to busy with their activities and forget to show that love that existed. The attention, time, communication reduces and that spark of love that was once there when the relationship started suddenly disappear. One may ask what happened alone the line?

Love is something that need constant nurturing for it to stay alive. Just like the plant that need water, energy from the sun, weeding and other components to keep it alive, same also applicable to love.

Love need its own components such as the constant communication, time, trust, sacrifice etc to stay alive. When two people or rather partner in a relationship stop communicating with each other, become to busy with their activities and do not spend quality time with each other, the bond between them becomes weak and the love that was there will start fading away.

There's one little or minor thing aside the effort, time, attention, communication etc that we may think is normal in a relationship but can actually be a cause for some persons love to start fading and that is compliment.

Like I said at the beginning of a relationship, the spark of love is strong, people bring out their best behaviour, there's constant communication, chatting, texting messages and giving compliment like "you look beautiful/handsome, I love you, you are the best person" and all other sweet compliment we can think of but as time goes on, after getting to know and be with each other for sometime, most people start taking things for granted, they stop the little things that use to spice up the relationship when it was still new.

Those little compliment like " I love you, you are looking beautiful, your dress is so nice" becomes too hard for some persons to say.

Most people need to constantly hear those sweet nice compliment so that they will always feel you still love them, but when you don't compliment them as before, they may start having that feeling that you don't love them like before, they start feeling unlove.

I've been in a restaurant before and in my presence I saw a relationship which I don't know if it ended or not. What happen was that the guy took his girlfriend to the restaurant to eat and while they were eating his female friend walk into the restaurant to, they meet and greeted eachother and the guy compliment on her (the friend's) dressing. After the friend left, his own girl got upset and began to complain saying when last did he compliment on her dressing or even say nice words to her, even the I love you self, it's been a while she heard it from him. She got upset and said I'm done and walk out. Like I said I don't know how it ended.

Little things we may take for granted can actually be a cause for some relationship and love to fade. It is very important to keep taking care of your relationship and nurture it always with all the essential components if you want the love to remain strong and the relationship to keep going smoothly.
