How My 2025 Has Been So Far.

When I look back at how this year has gone, all I can really say is that I appreciate God for the gift of life. I am grateful for being able to see this year from the beginning up till now. It has not been a smooth road, but it has been a meaningful journey so far. This year started on a very difficult note for me. I lost my grandfather and that experience really shook me. I was very close to him, so his death left a heavy space in my heart. The pain stayed with me for a while, but with time, I was able to accept it his departure and move on.
Even though the year started with a sad beginning, it still turned out to be a favourable year.
Things began to turn around in February. That month became one of the biggest highlights of my year. First, I celebrated my birthday on the 28th of February. But beyond that, something even more special happened. On that very day I successfully completed my National Service. Finishing NYSC national service meant a lot to me because it marked the end of one long phase and the beginning of another. It even more special because I am the first graduate in my family. My uncles and aunties did not get the opportunity to complete a university degree, but by God’s grace, I was able to graduate in 2023, go for my service in 2024, and round it up this year. That alone is a testimony for me and my family.
Immediately after completing my service, I started receiving job opportunities to teach in different schools which I eventually got the teaching job.

This year was also favourable for my family. My dad had been retired from civil service for over six years now, and things had not been easy at home. But this year, things changed for him. One of his former colleagues recommended him for a contract job outside the country. The organisation needed someone to train new intakes, and he was chosen. That opportunity brought a major breakthrough for my family. After many years of waiting, a door finally opened, and it happened this year.
Another unforgettable part of my year was escaping danger more than once. I narrowly escaped two car accidents. One of them was almost a head on collision, but somehow the car was preserved. I also escaped being bitten by a snake. My foot was very close to it, but thankfully, nothing happened.
Beyond all these experiences, this year has also been a year of learning and personal growth for me. One of my biggest breakthroughs was learning a new digital skill. It has added something valuable to my life and opened my mind to new possibilities.
So when I look at everything, the ups and the downs, the good moments and the scary ones, I can only be grateful. This year has taught me experience that has shaped me, challenged me, and have blessed me. In all things, I give God the glory.
