Hive-Reachout weekly prompt 53//Purpose of Existence

This week prompt reminded me of a book I once read by Myles Munroe "In pursuit of purpose" and the quote "Your existence is evidence that this generation needs something that your life contain" has always been one of my favourite quote that I mediate on daily in that book.

Everything in this life and in this world has a purpose for existing, everything whether it is living or non-living things, natural or man-made has a reason and purpose for existing. The existing of a thing signifies that it has something it can offer otherwise that thing will not exist. The phone we use today was invented for a purpose which is to make calls and communicate with people easily. The airplanes and car were invented to transport people and goods from one place to another. The sun, moon and stars were created to give light to the world. Even as tiny as the micro organisms that live on the soil that we can not see has a purpose. They are there to break down fallen plants and dead animals, turn them into smaller parts that helps return nutrients back to the soil. So literally, everything that exist on earth has a purpose.

Narrowing it down to humans and myself in particularly. The question of why I am existing is one of the deepest and most important questions that I've always ask myself. Why am I here?, Why am I existing.

Many people have their own different believe and opinion as to why they exist as human beings but to me I believe that the answer to this question begins with God.

Spiritually, existence is not just about being born, growing up, and dying one day. From the beginning, God created the world with a purpose. He created the sun, moon, stars, animals, plants, and also we human beings. Everything He made has a purpose and so my existence as part of God's creation is for a purpose.

The purpose of my existence is not just a question to answer. It is a truth to live everyday. I'm not here in this word by accident. Neither will anyone say he/she was born by mistake. I always condemns that statement. There is a reason you and I were born into this world. There is a purpose behind our existence.

I believe that I was not born by mistake into this world and my existence is a gift from God which is an evidence and a proof that I have something the world needs. My parents didn’t plan me, God planned me.

Spiritual I believe that one of my major purpose for existence is to know God, knowing his word and living a life that is pleasing to him. To live a life of love just as He did and to serve. There are other reason why I'm existing but all falls within God.

My purpose in life is unique. What I'm born to do, how I'm meant to help others, the difference I'm meant to make in the world, these things are specially designed for me and are different from other people.

I believe that there's something inside of me and everyone else, irrespective of who we are, where we were born or the nature or circumstances that surrounds our birth, something we carry within us that the world will be in need of, something our generation will gain from.

One thing I always keep in mind is that, I don’t need to copy anyone else lifestyle. I don’t need to try to live someone else’s life. When I try to be like someone else, I may lose what makes me, me. I might end up losing that thing that makes me unique and different from others. The world already has that other person, What the world needs now is me, my real self. The world needs people like me. Not a copy of someone else but the real me.

One thing is clear I am made to live a life that only you can live.

And just like every star shines in its own way in the sky, I was created to shine in my own way on earth. I was created to fit into the world in a special way. If I don’t play my role, the world will be missing something important that I carry.
I have something no one else has.
