Hive-Reachout Weekly Prompt 40 // How Much Do I Need

Honestly speaking, When I saw this week topic I smiled and began to imagine the kind of amount I will demand for if given the opportunity. Such a question requires careful and deep thought to respond to, knowing fully well that it could be a once in a life time opportunity and could actually change my life and family for good. But then let's face reality, no one will just wake up one day and ask you how much do you want?, what amount is no your mind, just say it and I will give it to you. We shouldn't forget the fact that life will not always give us what we want, we have full responsibility of finding our ways to get what we want.
And so I'm going to treat this question based on imagination and wishes.

If I'm asked how much do I need?, I’m going to respond to this question in two different dimension. The first is, how much do I need, when it has to do with achieving the big dreams of my life and the second is how much do I need when it comes to current needs and wants.

However the question may appear, one need to be mindful. If it comes in the aspect of achieving my dreams, then I will demand for $10 million. How I'm I going to use it?

I’m going to use it and make investment, having a stream flow of income from different angles. I’m going to invest in Real Estate. I will buy properties and keep like the lands as they have high potential of increasing in value with time and properties that will be on rent. I will also involve in buying and selling of properties generally. I will invest in crypto currency.

I’m going to buy shares from companies like Banks, industries and Network providers. I was chatting with one of the staff of Guarantee Trust Bank early last year and he told me you can actually buy shares for as low as $150 to $200 as a student. I will engage in buying and selling of agricultural products especially from places they are produced to places they are needed.

I’m going to assist my community especially the student by sponsoring and giving scholarship. I wouldn’t want students to face the kind of financial challenge I faced during my days in school. Even though I may not be able to sponsor everyone, the little I can assist, I will sponsor.

Living a luxurious life is one thing I’ve always dream of. Having that big mansion and luxurious car(s), going for vacations and adventures, travelling round different places and countries of the world. The first place I will travel to is Paris, it has always been the first city on my mind. I’m going to buy the big mansion for my family and take then out on vacations and holidays to different countries as well. The only problem I may have is my mom; she doesn’t like flight.

Hmm!!!!! What a dream!!, What a wish!!! that I will love to achieve but then let’s face reality, 20 million dollars isn’t a small money that someone will just wake up one day and give out just like that.

Coming back to the second dimensions “how much do I need when it comes to achieving current needs and wants.

If asked how much do I need, to settle current needs and wants then I will demand for $2000. What will I use it for?

I will enrol in advance data analysis and data science course to boast my skill.

I will establish my own café business. I will purchase a new laptop, printers: coloured and black and whiter and a photocopier.

I will engage in agriculture storage. Buying agricultural products and storing them.

I will invest in crypto currency.

I will settle current family needs and to clear up my debts.

Those are the things I will do when asked how much do I need...
