Awareness, awareness!
I think that, since I was a teenager, perhaps because of a tendency of my own, I paid a lot of attention to the natural and unnatural things around me. I remember how it gave me pleasure to see the clouds in the sky, or to hear the birds singing in the courtyard of my parents' house, or to enjoy the golden light of the altarpiece of the altars in the cathedral. And this last experience, as an acolyte, was definitive for my usual contemplative state.

However, this inclination did not become fully effective until I was fully aware of that personal truth. But not as a mere encounter of taste or academic training. No. It was the revelation of that profound poetry, present in the condensed thought in Basho's haiku (“The sound of the bell / expands in the mist / of dawn”), or in texts by the poet William Wordsworth (“a heart / that watches and welcomes”). I cannot leave out the book The Island by the writer Aldous Huxley, in which we are presented with a utopia; in the story the "mynah" birds say every so often: “Awareness. Here, now”, so that the inhabitants keep life in mind.
To be coherent in our life with a tendency towards the fully conscious is not at all easy. This attitude and spiritual disposition is in contradiction with the preponderant, totalitarian way of life today, where acceleration and inattention are characteristic.
Slowness, calmness, contemplation, silence, are at odds with the character that dominates almost worldwide. Noise prevails, oral or written speech without pause, almost deaf and, contradictorily, inexpressive.
My disposition is to seek or experience a full awareness of what I live. In it I keep on, in spite of all the threats and denials.
Greetings.

I could relate, there is something timeless about finding beauty in quiet moments and natural rhythms of life itself.
Mmm…may your contemplative path continue to shine despite the world's noise. Cheers!
Thank you for your interesting and kind comment. Best regards, @ginika.

You are welcome.
Hi, José, maestro, just take a few minutes of your day to breathe consciously, without being disturbed by anything. Let this be just your time to breathe. Start with 3 minutes and increase it as your body asks for it.
If you have not done this, those initial 3 minutes will seem infinite. But I assure you that they will change your life in an unexpected way.
The path will lead you to explore more in the here and now, I am sure of that.
Greetings!
Hello, dear @nanixxx. Thank you for your recommendation. As I have yoga training, I practice deep breathing (diaphragmatic breathing) every day, when I wake up and when I go to sleep. Sometimes, at some point during the course of the day, if I feel it is necessary. A virtual hug.
