The Bull Run: Watching & Waiting
I've been looking at the price of BTC, and other alts in the market as well as Hive too. A lot of people have built expectations for Hive, how it might get to $2, and how they'll take profit, go on holiday, spend, and taste the good life. While I won't consider this a pipe dream, I'll mostly see it as a experiencing severe wait period and building up expectations for when the hell hole called the bear market will cease.
Watching and waiting can be hard, no matter what sector of life it is. This is because one wants to know what happens at the end of a waiting period so much that it feels like time is slow. To be very honest, I'm silent about anything concerning the bull market, this isn't because I'm not expecting it, this is mainly because of the issues happening in my life, of which I'm also watching and waiting to see the outcome.
Basically I don't think anything will happen until the last quarter of the year, and one of the best ways to deal with this is to completely forget about expectations, what comes at the end, and why it should happen sooner than expected. The bull market is not long now, but then there will be several months of uncertainty and I think anyone who is expected a x10 in the next 6 to 7 months will be overly disappointed.

there's still no blueprint for how the market will react, and all we have is predictions and permutations.
I don't really think anyone should be watching and waiting. The anxiety that comes from it can be killing. For example, I've been doing a lot of research concerning my condition, and I currently don't know the futuristic outlook, all I know is that I have asymptomatic impairment in my system and maybe it might cause some serious issues in the future, or maybe not, but thinking about that time and how it might impact my life stops me from living in the moment.
All I'm trying to do is to watch and wait, but it's no fun at all knowing I have an issue and not understanding the long-term prognosis. Infact watching and waiting makes you stop living.
For 3 months now, I'm not really sure I've done anything really meaningful. I've just spent my time scared about things and it basically makes me stop to live in the moment. It's the same with the expectations of the bull run. I think the bull run is a process, it's not a destination. It's a marathon where we will see different prices and where ATHs might be broken. It's a steady process, and thinking about the top or what happens when the price peaks, makes one too expectant and this can even harm their building process.
Build process equals living.
It's the time, the experience, and the journey of gathering and accumulating. It's what your story entails, especially when you want to tell a tale of how you became extremely rich, the accumulating process is always the thing that makes more sense. So is there a way to truly watch and wait? I don't think there's a general way. However, expectations and fear or wanting the future to quickly come so we can know our faith can be deadly.
However, this is how we're built. It's not easy to not think at the end of the tunnel, even when the distance might be far off. I basically think that the best way is to just leave the future and manage the present. This is mostly a piece of advice, I'm certain I'll not be able to heed it, no matter how hard I try.

I would not say that Hive won’t get to $2 but I’m very sure that it will take some time but at the same time, we never can tell how well this bull will go

Hopefully so, but I feel it's still a long time away.
I believe we are in a bull market already, especially regarding Bitcoin. Several altcoins have also had their significant rallies, some outperforming Bitcoin by a large margin, but until the halving, I'm not expecting much price action. I was expecting to see an altcoins season now that Bitcoin has cooled off a bit, but it looks like the majority of the market is raising along side BTC. I also believe the current bull market will be shorter than the previous ones but more explosive. Time will tell if all of that will come true. Once BTC goes to $100,000 and above start taking profits cuz it won't take long until the whole shit hits the fan and we enter a new bear market again.
That's a good predictions, well we've seen that the alts haven't really rallied even with BTC cooling off. It's not surprising to me. I still feel BTC will need to do a significant pump maybe to 65 or 70k before some alts will begin to respond.
Like you too, I believe the next run will be explosive.
Crypto takes a lot of patience, bull runs don't come around real often. We're all hoping that it will come along sooner than later!

Bull run truly don't come around often, I don't think the next one will last more than six months.
Some days are good, some days I have trust and faith, and some day like yesterday, I completely wake up broken, sad and depressed.

Sometimes, I see this part as the make or break moment of the journey. It's hard to tell what comes next and when or how things will unfold. I think continuing to build while also being patience and aware of the overall trends is a good way to navigate through this part of the journey.
True, patience is the key and continuing to build is also vital as well. Because I feel this lag in price is still an opportunity for all and sundry to accumulate

I don't expect $2 for HIVE this year either. I think $0.10 is more likely.
I tend to agree with you that Hive won't really move until the end of the year. Personally, I don't expect much movement at all until alt season and that will have to wait for BTC to run. I don't even know when that will run now that the ETF is already approved either. It's definitely not easy waiting though
Yeah, while we're in the season of the bull run, I tend to feel that alts will definitely lag behind till the end of the year and even till next year too. BTC is probably going to move a lot, but I don't think so for alts. I think the ETF is not magic, I feel things will happen slowly.
