HPUD and Talks About Altcoin Season
Market Rant
October flew by, and I must admit that it seems like only yesterday that everyone was yelling "UPTOBER!" Now we are officially two months away from the end of the year. I am not sure if it is just me, but while it appears that the months have passed quickly, it certainly feels too slow from a crypto standpoint.
It has finally dawned on us that alt coins may remain flat for the rest of Q4. BTC experienced a strong rally towards the end of October, but then fell back to 69k, returning to where it all began and dumping altcoin even more severely.
It is safe to say that this is not alt season, and BTC can continue to rally until we officially enter 2025, the year of the holy grail. Sorry y'all this is just a moment of self reflection before the main them of this post. Every time I try to write a post, I can not help but poke fun at the market.
HPUD
Okay, so I broke my usual 200-hive monthly power up last month. So last month I did a 100 hive power up and this time around I'm going do be doing about 121 Hive power-up. I can not get enough Hive to power up, for a variety of reasons, so I took the opportunity to congratulate some of the people whose content I regularly follow on their power-up.
HPUD is always an exciting day to see so many people put their Hive where it can work for them. Staking may categorically refer to more positive things such as Curation rewards, but it also refers to taking liquid Hive and locking them up in solidarity and support for the chain, so even when people power down and take profit and possibly buy stable HBD, you know that these people are targeting lower prices to actually buy cheaper Hive during the bear market.
Well, I am also sentimentally biased towards this population, call it circle jerking or whatever, but leaning toward those who consider their long-term goals and the likelihood of this place thriving is a no-brainer.
Hivebuzz is going to create a collection of power-ups, which I am looking forward to seeing.
HPud Achievements
So one of the people I follow and constantly interact with recently reached 100k, which felt surreal. I was very happy for him because he talked about how hard he has worked to actually get there, it's not easy to get to 100k and for an average size orca, but after reading about all this investment strategies and even buying at the top at some point.
You will agree with me that these are some of the people who deserve a successful altcoin season.
However, I hope that one day I will be in a position where I can have that HP and actively participate in governance and curation, which I am currently unable to do.
I need a big break to be able to achieve some of my goals, and then these goals will begin to bring back the Hive, which will help me actually get to the 100ks and all that, but for now the focus is on establishing myself in real time, taking care of my immediate family, health, and all these other expensive medications.
GOALS
For the time being, I will stick with these small power-ups until I am able to raise them. I call them "tiny power-ups" because they are still not up to my expectations. The altcoin season has not yet begun, so you may want to start loading up.
That $5 power-up could become $50 or more during alt season, which is why it is critical to never underestimate these power-ups and the potential curation reward they can bring you.

I have not participated in the Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) for long months, but today I also powered up 100 Hive.
Based on the current Hive price ($0.1798 USD), the 100 Hive Power Up is currently $17.98 USD.
I am not underestimating it.
Even a power up like this can worth much more in the future, when the price of the Hive will go up.
And regularly doing power ups for months, years, decades can lead to very good passive income.
And the same is true for the Hive Dollars (HBD).
Currently I do not have much in any of these assets, but nowadays I am in a good enough situation to be able to regularly invest in them.
And I am actually planning to regularly invest in them at least in the next few months.
We will see how it will go.
Good luck and all the best with your Hive blockchain investment goals/plans.
Congratulations to your power-up as well. It's a huge one.
I think it's sacrificial to do these power ups. It's often very expensive and sometimes it might seem like it's not worth it, but these power-ups can give one potential curation rewards which is probably one of the most important for me.
Well it's not easy to hold hive assets and wait for the right time to take profit, but it's mostly beneficial to those that do.
I wish you well as well.
Great job! A HPUD done with 10 or one million is a great accomplishment! Although since prices just dumped on Hive so I probably should have waited to later to pick up my Hive today.
We all deserve a great alt coin season, it been way too long. Hopefully we'll see it this year! How are you doing?
I don't think we might get an alt season to this year, unless BTC hits 100k by the end of the year. Like you've pointed out, the market also took some dumping and I should have probably waited a little to get the hive I did using HBD.
I'm okay, how have you been too?
Hanging in! I was too tired for most of yesterday to get a lot done. I knew in the evening I was going to be busy so I took it easy most of the day!
Well one knows his body and knows when to listen to it. I also know when to listen to my body and give it rest. Nice decision

Thanks a million, I appreciate
Happy HPUD and nice powerup. I still think a 100 Hive powerup is pretty good and it all adds up over time. Just keep stacking and you never know how much that will be worth in the alt season. I agree that the market is likely to go sideways/down.
Yes, I believe it'll add up overtime, and well I know it's a decent power up but I'm always aiming for higher because I want to take advantage of whatever Curation reward I hope to make.
Congratulations on your power up!! 💪
It's not the end of the world that you didn't do your 200 Hive power up, it's important that you were here and did your part on #HivePUD!
Showing by example that even when times are not the best ones, it's important to continue building and pushing!
Thanks a million, appreciate all the kind words. You know, when someone sets a sort of benchmark and fails to replicate it to satisfaction, it can be unfulfilling, but yes, you're right I did do my part and that's what matters.
What are you talking about? You hold a nice chunk of HP and powered up despite going through some real-life hardships, even if you missed your monthly HPUD target. There are many who should learn from you...
Thanks a million, my health issues have been my motivation as well as what's actually holding me back too, a double-edged sword there. But yeah, I guess I can afford to lay off sometimes and continue whenever it's actually convenient.
