It has been more than a month since I posted about the $DOGS project and some people have registered using my referral link. The project will finally be listed on the 20th, after over 33 days. Spot trading will be available on OKX and bybit, and Binance may follow.

The Telegram CEO understands that hype and traction are required to launch a meme coin, and he has used his connections to successfully create a massive hype. One thing is certain: if you have farmed this project, you can expect to make some money from it, no matter how small.
The main purpose of the airdrop is to build an active community and get people involved, but the real money will be made by those who become the first traders when the coin goes live. Not only that, but notcoin is currently the most successful Telegram project; Durov is aware of this and has worked closely with it.
These guys (notcoin) have a very loyal community and HODLers on Twitter, and $DOG has capitalized on this. In exchange, $Dog will be incentivizing those who are actually long-term holders of notcoin, which is massive. It was critical to collaborate with a project that had already been launched and had a proven track record of success.
So, if you have some money, perhaps $5 or $10, have it on hand by the 20th of the month to make a nice profit, and if not, you can claim your allocated airdop. There will be additional utility to this coin. For example, after the launch, you can send it to others via Telegram wallet and so on.
There will be other utilities. Again, this airdop will be small, but free money is free money, regardless of its size. Oh boy, I almost faded this project. I didn't know that after claiming the first token, I should be logging in daily for more rewards. It was about 13 days ago that I realized that and began immediately. I completed my 5 referral this morning and got 20k dog tokens, having a total of 47k atm

There's presale, probably on Gate.io where you can buy and hold, before it starts dumping. It's a risky move though, but those who know the market well will make profit with selling and buying.

Why do I need to have that amount if I am waiting to get the airdrop. I am genuinely confused here.
If you read the post to the end, I mentioned that trading might earn you money more than the airdop itself...
I did read it to the end but then I got confused with the 5 dollar to 10 dollars part. But in all fairness I think trading it when it first gets listed will enquire a loss. I say this cause majority will dump it the first few hours until it becomes a bit study.
Speed and timing is everything... Some speed kings will still make profit immediately it goes live. There's also a pre-sale at the moment, the hype is why I think many people will make money with trading
The experience of notcoin for many community members was frustrating and some even got compensated for the glitches both in telegram amd exchanges. Trading with such amounts may actually incur losses or in appreciable gains except maybe for large capital volume traders.

You talked about a compensation, did you farm Pixelverse? If you did then you'll understand that notcoin is king irrespective of any failings they might've had. No telegram project has still been able to match the success of notcoin and many people made sizeable sums there helped them break into web3.
For dogs, I don't expect much, many $10s I expect...
Yeah, you're right, just maybe about that amount but, it remains free money. And yes, someone said you won't see another notcoin. Next few days would tell. I farmed pixel verse and quite a few others that I am exploring especially on Galxe. Airdrops are not guaranteed and sometimes, your volume of transactions and period spent may guarantee you some few dollars.

I have this friend who updates me on airdrops matters, this evening before I saw this article, he called me and asked me about DOGS airdrop.
I never knew it would be listed though. But dogs airdrop listing before other airdrops that came before it leaves me marvelled.

Well, it's one of the easiest airdop out there, and many people didn't know it'll list that early though and fortunately it did, even more than all these other stressful ones like Hamster Kombat.

It's an interesting airdrop and the free part is the nice thing. We didn't have to do much to get the airdrop but I don't think I ever downloaded anything like a Telegram wallet.
Are you sure you didn't have a telegram account, because it showed you clicked the link, and I'm sure some points might just be allocated to you..
I have a telegram account but I don't know if there is some wallet associated with Telegram. I don't use Telegram much at all.
Don't worry you'll be able to sell your points at exchanges.. depending on the points you accumulated or farmed
