What money??? Everyone lost money including the thousands I forked out to H-E to even create the project.

OK, now I am confused, why would a project participant (Gifu) down vote a respected long time active member of the community? I even up vote comments by @jongolson on things I completely disagree with him on.
At least they showed up and said why....They (i guess) were investors in the CTP token that I started at the same time LEO began.
Lots of hills and valleys but the business (CTP as a whole) fell on hard times, my partner left the project and I had to sell CTP like 2 years ago.
So they lost money on CTP. But if that's their reasoning they should downvote 99% of all layer 2 projects on Hive. Only a handful are still thriving.

I sold it almost 2 years ago. And the new owner is busy working to fix things up. As far as I know, he plans to rebuild and promote it heavily.
I think CTP folding was a dagger in the heart of the ALIVE community founder also. As far as I know he just disappeared. I know they were active in the community if I remember correctly.

Big reason, I was here way before you buttercup. I have seen the downvote mentality never mature.
Hive was worse before downvotes. I remember haijen post 10 charts a day and self upvoting along with a whale autovote where each worthless chart was being upvoted like $100usd worth. He provided no value but was extracting something like $1million usd annualized.
Oh I hear ya....But downvotes then, actually protected the chain from abuse.
Now it's gripes and ego that feed downvotes. Has nothing to do with adding any value for the experience.
Just saying they are a valuable tool to fight abuse. Of course downvotes can be abused too. In a world of no downvotes verse having downvotes I am in favor of downvotes. Perhaps a different implementation needs to be established to still fight abuse but not allow individual accounts to cause so much trouble.
