Increasing tariff price is now developing into a new norm for every administration that comes in and we've been given so many unfulfilled promises about how things will get better once there are hikes like this sighting unrealistic facts that money gotten from this would be used to develop the country at some point.

These hikes have affected several companies in the country and right now it's actually choking me 😭, Internet was already an expensive commodity which is why you hardly find some people online when they need to but now with the recent 200% and 100% increase everything just got out of control.

Internet services that was sold for #3000 naira and at most #5000 naira is now been sold for #15000 naira in the nearest minimum which is a lot compared to the proposed increase in minimum wage and this means that we are spending more than we would when we were getting a minimum wage that was lower than that getting lower value for our money.

Now we have to spend lesser time online which could subsequently result in losing money from spending time online and to make more you have to spend more making things less comfortable.

Changes like this are done without the contribution of the people because it wouldn't have stood had it been everyone were included.

These are harsh times for Internet users.
