This fight begins with Sasuke noticing Tobi, who was behind a tree, and suddenly Deidara appears, attacking him from above with explosive clay. Deidara, believing he had managed to kill him, is surprised to see that Tobi survives thanks to one of his snakes. After a brief conversation, Sasuke attacks him with great speed, seemingly cutting Tobi in half, but Deidara dodges. Deidara creates tiny explosive insects, but Sasuke, with his Chidori, launches small needles of electricity, deflecting many of them against the trees and other directions. At that moment, Tobi tells him to be careful, as Sasuke accidentally appears behind Deidara, but Deidara counterattacks by launching explosive clay, destroying the place.

Esta pelea comienza con Sasuke dándose cuenta de la presencia de Tobi, que estaba detrás de un árbol, y de repente Deidara aparece atacándolo desde arriba con arcilla explosiva. Sasuke begins to realize what is happening, so Deidara begins to detonate them, causing Sasuke to flee through the forest and cut trees with his sword to avoid some of the explosions, until the clay manages to trap him, enveloping his entire body and causing a huge explosion, filling Deidara with emotion.

Mientras este caía, Sasuke, con unos shuriken controlados por unos hilos, atrapa a Deidara, dejándole inmóviles los brazos justo en el momento en el que el dragón cae sobre las minas que había puesto Tobi para Sasuke, haciendo explotar todo el lugar, incluido el dragón. A los segundos, nos muestran a Deidara volando sobre un ave de arcilla, donde explican cómo fue que sobrevivió. Mirando fijamente a Sasuke, muy molesto, piensa en su próximo movimiento.
