Steep, Scenic, Brutal | Bridle Path Hike Adventure

Just three days before 2024 drew to a close and on holiday, my friend and I attempted the Bridle Path hike. The information about Bridle path only told us it is a difficult steep track 👣 and it certainly was from the first step all the way.

But for us it wasn't all the way to the top, when it comes to hiking, what I have learned is to look out for each other, aside from the steepness, even the weather could change and affect either of us depending on how our body respond to weather changes.

We were about halfway up when my friend felt she couldn't continue so we made the walk back down which I found to be very challenging due to the steep descend, we were careful with every step not to slip.

It is a hiking track to return to some time this year, probably after winter or next summer. I have to conquer the Bridle path walk to the summit.

What a stunning views. The valley just lies there… and gets more visible the higher you get.
Yes, it is wise to look out for everything on a long and difficult hike.
Very challenging when it is so steep. The descent is tricky then too.

The summit is actually where the Gondola is. It is one my to-do list to get to the summit, one day I will.
The view as we kept going was so stunning, it was worth to keep going.

I have to invest in hiking shoes with firm footing to reduce the risk of sliding.

Wow, this must be a very valuable experience, you are incredibly brave to try on a steep path. and I also salute you who prioritize safety and look after each other. hopefully someday you can climb to the top.

The views is very tempting to aim for the summit even though it a very difficult and challenging steep track.
Our safety comes first on adventurous activities like this so we had to make a safe call.

Wonderful! The views on the top must've been incredible, with varying degrees of vegetation. The valley look clear and vivid. Hopefully, you'll conquer this walk on your next attempt :)

It is a must-conquer walk for me, even if I have to do it solo. Walking up the steep hill with every breath of and legs needing strength to keep going was quite an experience.
