Prt 2: Crossing The First Swing Bridge at Mt Cook πŸŒ‰πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ

avatar

It was around 4:13pm, when we embarked on the Hooker Valley hike at Mt Cook quite late, though it is summer β˜€οΈ and it only gets dark around 9pm. I had to work half day, then travel from Queenstown to Mount Cook, so all of that contributed to the late walk.

It took us 18 minutes to get to the First Swing Bridge πŸŒ‰ even though I played catch up with my friend most of the time because of me talking photos πŸ“Έ πŸ“·

I enjoy the thrill of being on swing bridges πŸŒ‰ my friend don't πŸ˜ƒ

The bridge's capacity is a maximum of 20 people, so we tend not to stay too long so others can access the bridge because folks like me can stand there for long taking photos πŸ˜„ but I behaved.

I helped myself to selfish now and then, it was just too exciting, and I found the walk to be easy for me.

I have shared a screenshot of the track as we hike towards Hooker Lake. Stick around to find out if we made it.

I would've stayed a bit longer on the bridge too to admire the surrounding views. Beautiful atmosphere with wonderful landscapes :)

Hahaha unfortunately the bridge can only hold 20 maximum people at a time so with that in mind you wouldn't want to stay too long, I had to behave πŸ˜† not to stay too.
