Omotumotu Bush Walk | The Walk I never Completed

avatar

Before I drove up to Rotary Platform Lookout in Greymouth, which I shared photos of the view yesterday, I went for a walk at Omotumotu Bush Walk.

Omotumotu Bush Walk is a 25 minute loop track of 1.5 kilometer, I was a kind of dense bush walk that I like, it felt like being in a deep forest with trees all over and some little streams running through.

It had rained so much the previous days so the ground was quite wet, I wasn't equipped with the right walking shoes as my shoes weren't waterproof.

I walked for about 10 minutes and decided to stop and made a return. It was a walk I would have loved to complete but I didn't, and the car park was too quite I was also worried about the company expensive tools in my vehicle.

I might not get the opportunity to do the Omotumotu Bush walk again as it was one of those uncommon free time days of work.

The bush looks like it’s a rainforest. I’m sure taking a walk there would be exhilarating.

You are right Greymouth gets a lot of rain with lots of forest. The forest or bush walks always leave me refreshed.

It does look wet with the images, great time to soak in the fresh energy from the rain mixed with the leaves and soil. Hopefully, you get the opportunity for another walk in this place :)
