This mural concludes my hunt for murals in Invercargill last year December.

I enjoyed the hunt, and this one is hidden, so I walked into the back of some buildings to find this one.

It is loaded on 98 Spey Street, Invercargill.

But no, this is not going to be the last one from Invercargill, I was back in Invercargill in February this year and hunted for a few more murals.

The face of the lady in this mural stands out for me. A detailed look at it will see the talent behind this mural.

As for the artist, I am unsure who the artist is.
With this mural, I am entering for this week's contest..

Getting there… working on several things / rooms at the same time as things need to dry. So I filled and repaired the dining room floor. Tomorrow I sand it. The day after the first layer of paint. While that dries… I finish the last wall in the kitchen. The antique white didn’t cover the flowers and butterflies well so 3 layers of paint are needed 🫣 So I can hop around while I wait for things to dry.
Left… dining room floor and skirting boards.
Kitchen 1 wall and floor and skirting boards.
Little front hallway walls and ceiling
Landing upstairs, I did half of the walls. Ceiling… then stairs, sanding and painting.

So bit by bit.
The living room was the biggest and longest job. So much to fix.
I still need to create the video for it. Next to everything else and hive hahaha
4 weeks left until we are away for about 1 month. Worst case… I can finish things when I return before we start packing and move out fully. Not ideal but is possible.
I need to do a bit on the outside walls, but still freezing so it needs to wait a while until warmer june.

Are you moving out of there soon, but you've been renovating the place I was thinking you will stay a while there.
You seem to have settled well there I think.

Jackie back still hurt, it's a Lumbar Sprain, I was at the Physio yesterday and have another appointment next week Tuesday. I am being careful not to lift heavy stuff at work now. Am told it takes 4-6 weeks to heal if I don't make it worse.

Yes, sadly we won’t be able to enjoy the results of the hard work 😓 such is life.
It seems we won’t be settling here and hope to move fully out early summer.
Not sure if I ever will. It seems like I am wandering forever. I doooo crave for some steady ness. To finally settle, start doing my art again and the things I truly love.

Oh no, so sorry to hear that. Good you checked it out and was at the physio.
I understand your pain, with my own back problems and injuries.
Be careful… I hope you can rest the back as much as possible. It will be hard in your job.
Sometimes just a turn or a step can worsen it. So easy in everything you do especially going up and down ladders or steps.
Let’s hope it heals quickly 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I can imagine and I can tell you long a place to finally settle. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you both and wishing you find a place fitting to finally settle down.

Sometimes we just have to keep trying several possibilities to finally arrive at the one that favors us.

As for my back, God help me! I handle and lift heavy things often at work. I will be careful and hope not worsen it.

Currently in bed with a warm water bottle placed on my back as advice my the physio. The pain have reduced, I still have to be very careful though. Thank you 😊
