Capturing Beach Bliss Through My Glasses
It was during one of my evening sunset chasing moments, on the 12th of June to be precise.
My glass is a recommended one by an optometrist, I opted for it because I spend a lot of time on my devices (laptop and phone), and because of that, I began to develop reddish and painful eyes even when I drive long-distance sunny day, the mirage reflection on the road affects my eyes. So getting these glasses have been of great help for the amount of time I spend online.
It is an ultraviolet glasses and I was advised to wear it at all times but so far I have not listened I only wear it when using my laptop and phone. I just don't want to be seen wearing glasses all over the place and appear nerdy 😃
Even on this day when I went to the beach with my glasses, I had it in its case 😅
The intention is to go and get photography-creative with it on the beach and not work on the beach wearing it like some nerd 🤣
Enough of the nerdy stuff, take no offense if you wear glasses all over the place, am only fooling around. 😉
I had an idea in mind to capture the sunset reflected on my glasses but the position of the sunset just didn't make it possible for me. I still to try it someday and if possible many times.
So I got blissful capturing my glasses. It was fun, I ended up liking all of them and can hardly pick my favorite one.
It was a moment of bliss.
We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

Keep exercising the eyes whenever away from the screen or driving, a total love/hate relationship with wearing glasses....

Not sure why the beach is always with very few people unless on Holidays that's when I saw the numbers on the beach high. I might have to be the one buying the glasses from myself 😃
True, am trying not to be fully reliant on the glasses. If am not driving or using the screen, you are not going to find them on me.

You must've had to knell down to actually take these pictures though.. hahaha the efforts. I like the bokeh effect on the last picture, I think your Samsung phone automatically kicks the effect in. You've been enjoying going to the Beach a lot.
Lol, the love for something makes us put in the effort, I had fun in the process in my own space without starring eyes. I think one thing I like about the beach here is you can literally have the whole beach to yourself because its always with few people.

They have been very helpful I have to give them credit considering the amount of time I spend on the screen.
I always think people that wear glasses are nerdy, they are well read, they've been reading lots of books like professors 😃😃😂
But the truth is we spend a lot of time online these days so at one point or the other we are going need them.
That is cool, the days are running down of you to get the car to Ireland and in the process, you are having some adventurous moments 😉
It has been cloudy all day over here but started with drizzling showers about an hour ago. Nice weather to be indoors.

It does look that way. As we are spending a lot of time behind some kind of screen, I can imagine that isn’t great for our eyes.

It was lovely this morning… then we got suddenly a lot of rain. So guess what we did.
We jumped on a little tour boat and went along the river.
And you know the boat we went on.
Remember Chester and our walk along the river before dinner and hooping on the ferry when I moved to Ireland.
There was a little boat called “The Jackie” we went on that one for half an hour. During the worse rain. After the tour we waited under some large trees 🌳
Now back in the Airbnb after dinner and relaxing. Looks like I walked today 11,7 km 😜 hahaha !LOL

It sounds like a wonderful day, a boat tour in the rain and taking shelter from the rain under a tree sounds wonderful and 11.7km is a lot but I know it is small for you since you go on longer km hikes.
I did 15km last week, I should do it again one of these days.
Yes, the rain stayed away today so I went for a walk which I am happy about because I skipped yesterday due to the weather.

I never thought I would go on the Jackie for a boat tour.
We were walking along the river and it started to rain. So we looked around, what shall we do.
There are 2 large boats and we thought those were the only tour boats. But as we payed, the large boat was leaving and they said in 10 minutes the next one comes… and there it was.
The little boat named The Jackie.
It was pretty cool 😎 such a change.
It was a great day, and lately I have not been on such long walks. So it was nice again. Will share the highlights of this walk soon 😊
