Quora And The Martyrs
The battles are extremely tough with the gladiators, the martyr ability cards as well as the soulbound summoners and not to mention the monsters. You basically have no idea the kind of lineup your opponent will throw at you, so it is always best to put up the strongest and most strategic lineup as much as possible.

Being an Equal Opportuity ruleset, monsters and gladiators could attack from any position. The lineups from my opponent and I was centered around Quora wining the fight with the aid of Martyr ability cards. The fights are becoming more of strategy and less of going head-on at your opponent.
HELIOS MATRIARCH is proving to be a very fearful summoner in the Dragon element, it is one of the soulbound summoners I so wish to have it at level and beyond as soon and possible. I will take us through how the fight transpired below.
Opponent's Summoner | Element | Ability |
---|---|---|
HELIOS MATRIARCH | Dragon | +1 Speed/Gladiator |
My Summoner | Element | Ability |

HELIOS MATRIARCH | Dragon | +1 Speed/Gladiator |

With the Taunt, Void Armor and Flight abilities I threw AGOR LONGTAIL in the frontline to absorb attacks while giving my back line to attack, like me my opponent also had MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN with Taunt ability. As intended AGOR survived the battle till the third round, from thereon things got interestingly out of control.
ARKEMIS THE BEAR came in proving Armor protection for the team, I lost the Halving ability due to my summoner at level 2, hopefully it doesn't take long before I upgrade HELIOS MATRIARCH to level 3. The rich Health of ARKEMIS THE BEAR was enough to see the battle till the end bein the only survival with QUORA.
It was more about placing the Martyr ability cards adjacent QUORA, so the elimination of VENARI MARKSRAT in the fifth round was all QUORA needed for addition boost.
It was a fight with lineups built around QUORA TOWERSHEAD, I have an edge with mine at level 2 against my opponent's at level 1. Both QUORA enjoyed successive triggered Bloodlust almost in unisome, eventually mine got the edge to get the job done in a ruthless manner. When you have a gladiator this powerful in your lineup, things can turn in your favor any moment as seen in this fight.
FUNGUS FLINGER'S Martyr ability benefited my QUORA in the fourth round, and it's job was accomplished as intended. It is also interesting that these Martyr ability cards have low health so eliminating them isn't much of a hassle.
SCAVO HIRELING was on the receiving end on CHAOS DRAGON in the third round which left AGOR exposed with a Repair to the Void Armor. It wasn't a great loss to the team as they still managed to put up a good fight.
This was a fight that was close and evenly matched that could have gone either way. Fortunately I emerged victorious.
