A Moment on Takaka Hill | Hawkes Lookout Views 🇳🇿

The first time I stopped at Hawkes Lookout, Takaka Hill was during sunset moment and I have shared photos in the past and promised to share photos of another view which was from my return travel from Takaka and the time it was just before noon.

When I find a beautiful short walking spots during my drive, I never get enough of it in New Zealand 🇳🇿, so stopped again during my drive back to Christchurch for these views.

I like to experience different landscape views of the same spot in NZ since the weather is frequently changing. Though comparing these photos with the sunset ones, I like the sunset ones more.

midday at Takaka Hill feels crisp, but the suNSet vibe you got earlier still wins on mood. love that you detour on the drive back just to catch another angle, that small adventure habit really pays off. as a numbers guy, sunset gives better return on colors, midday is fine but these views hits different :)

I agree with you, sunset in the background of any shot will most likely win for those amazing golden colors. I try to stop whenever I can for the love of nature, photos and the views, it surely pays off.
