Autumn season 🍂 officially commenced on the 1st of March here in New Zealand, and interestingly, it turned out to be like a lovely summer day ☀️ which was uncommon in this year's summer.
As seen in the photos, people are in shorts, and the weather truly calls for being outdoors, so my friend and I went out for dinner and decided we should rather walk in the city and it turned out to be a lovely day seeing people out enjoying themselves under the beautiful weather..
And my friend took photos of me as I was busy taking photos 📸 😃

Not really tight lol, though you are also right, the New Zealand roads are narrower.
I wasn't here during the earthquake but have visited the affected sites, it was very bad 😕 but if you are visiting Christchurch now, you wouldn't know it was affected by a devastating earthquake.

It fascinates me how trains can just pass by at such close proximity on the streets.
Don't they sometimes have accidents?
I will be fascinated as well by just looking at the photos and video but no, no accidents everything is well organized. The Trams and people share the route.

Quite interesting.
It's cool to come out on the street and immediately see a tram pass by you.
The Trams passes roughly every 10 to 20 minutes in Christchurch city center, so in an hour you are most likely to see 5 Trams pass you by. It is cool, I had my first ride on them in January 2024.
Oh my... that's a lot of Trams! Sounds like Trams are the major mode of transport over there.
Actually no, it is for leisure, it not for transportation from one place to the other like taxis.
NZ is generally a tourist country so, it is the tourists from other countries that keeps it busy.

Always exciting to see the trams still working in many parts of the world, ours were removed a long time ago when I was a little girl, vaguely remember them.
Great to have one sunny warm day, rare in that part of the world, yet next summer may be completely different, weather has been doing a switch around of late.

It was one beautiful warm day to really get out and it was lovely to seize the opportunity considering warm days are not often in Christchurch.
Trams through the tourist spots of South Africa will be nice.
