A Day on a Wheat Farm | Invercargill ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ

Earlier this year, in February, to be precise, I was on a farm in Invercargill for a cell site Backhaul upgrade. The site is located on a farm wheat farm where the farmer had agreed we could access the cell site but without driving there.

Farmers are the boss, and for our own good, we better comply! So I did a lot of prep work from my vehicle and carried my components to install with tools and laptop through the wheat farm that has grown taller than my knees and about 500-600 meters walk from where I parked my vehicle.

Damn I forgot a tool ๐Ÿ”ง ๐Ÿคฆ in my ute and had to go get it. To be honest, I forgot tools twice and did the walk 6 times. It wasn't fun!

But I couldn't help but still admire my surroundings as I was also surrounded by throns. There was some beautiful stuff to still photograph.

Even in the midst of a tough, difficult day, there are sometimes beautiful things to photograph ๐Ÿ“ธ

Man, I felt that 6x walk through knee-high wheat and thornsโ€”respect! ๐Ÿ˜… Thatโ€™s the kind of grind people donโ€™t always see behind the tech work. Still, itโ€™s cool how you managed to pause and appreciate the view despite the hassle. The way you told it made me feel like I was right there. Hope the photos made all that walking worth it

The photos I shared are personal photos but your response made me pull out this time-stamped photo for work just to show you the cell site from distance and your comment seem like you are a Tech and understand the hustle as we grind through whatever we come across.
After the job was done, I was fucked! I must have slept like a baby that day ๐Ÿคฃ

Haha I feel that!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ It mustโ€™ve been one hell of a day out there. Respect for the grindโ€”you guys really do the heavy lifting behind the scenes. That cell site shot says it all. Hope the rest was worth it after all that hustle!

I can imagine how tiring that walk was, especially with forgetting the tools how many times. But still you did not forget to admire the beauty around. That's beautiful!โค๏ธ

The natural scenery looks very beautiful and cool in the wheat fields and yellow grass and green trees, along with the blooming flowers and the blue clouds that look so extraordinarily beautiful and I really like it.
