Typhoon Tino Tested Our Walls, But Our Hearts Stood Firm My Aunt’s Story of Survival in Cebu

Hello everyone hi hiver friends..
Recently another strong typhoon hit the Philippines and this time it was Typhoon Tino that caused deep damage and fear for many families and one of those greatly affected was my aunt’s home in Cebu.

The house that once stood strong and full of life was left heavily damaged. The roofs were blown away, the trees were knocked down and the walls and posts were broken. It was heartbreaking to see everything my aunt’s family had built through years of hard work and sacrifice suddenly destroyed in just a single night.

This was not just a simple house.
This was a home filled with memories.
A home where the family gathers, where meals are shared where laughter and stories fill the air. A place of warmth love and belonging. To see it damaged like this is truly painful.

The wind during Typhoon Tino was unbelievably strong. It felt like the storm was tearing everything apart. Rain kept pouring and the sound of the storm outside was terrifying. All they could do was pray and hope that the house would remain standing and that everyone inside would be safe.

And thank God everyone was safe.
No one was harmed..
And that is something we are truly grateful for.
When the storm passed and the sky cleared they finally saw the full extent of the damage. The fallen trees the broken walls the twisted metal sheets... it was difficult to accept. But instead of losing hope the family began to clean repair and rebuild. Neighbors came to help. Some brought food. Others shared tools and materials. Many offered prayers and comforting words.

This is the Filipino spirit.. 😌
Yes the house was damaged.
Yes it hurt to see everything destroyed.
But hope was never lost.
Because a home is not just made of wood nails and roofing.
A home is made of family love and faith.
And as long as the family is together, the home can always be rebuilt.
Typhoon Tino may have been strong…
But our family’s strength is greater..💪
Thank you and happy reading 😊😀
Praying for recovery to all the family in the Philippines
