Greetings to all @worldmappin!
How are you all doing? Im here once again to share another travel story this time about a wonderful place my relatives and i recently visited. It is one of those destinations that truly makes you appreciate the beauty of nature and the joy of being together with family..

It had been quite a while since our family last spent time together for a real vacation. So when we finally decided to take a trip to Surigao del Sur there was only one place in mind Tinuy-an Falls. We had heard so many wonderful stories about its often called the “Niagara Falls of the Philippines.” And when we finally saw it with our own eyes, we were all completely amazed.

We left early in the morning for Bislig City. The trip was quite long but it did not feel tiring because of the beautiful scenery along the way green mountains rice fields and the fresh countryside air as soon as we arrived near Tinuy-an, we could already hear the powerful rush of water. The sound grew louder and louder as we walked closer and with every step our excitement built up.

And then there it was breathtaking! The waterfall was huge wide and majestic with crystal clear water cascading gracefully. It truly looked like something out of a postcard. The surrounding forest was lush and gren and there was a cool mist in the air from the rushing water. It felt like the entire place had its own natural air conditioning..

Since we arrived early there were not many tourists yet so we had the chance to explore and take photos freely. One of the most exciting parts was the bamboo raft ride that takes you directly under the falls.. Of course i did not miss that! The water hitting your back was strong, but it felt so refreshing like it was washing away all the stress and worries. My nieces and nephews were laughing the whole time completely soaked but full of joy..

We rented a small cottage near the water where we unpacked our food and had lunch together while enjoying the incredible view of the falls. Nothing beats a home-cooked meal when you are surrounded by nature. Around the area there were also souvenir stalls and local vendors selling snacks and handmade craft so we made sure to buy some keepsakes and pasalubong before leaving..

When evening came the temperature dropped and the whole place grew calm and peaceful. We gathered by our cottage chatting laughing and sharing stories about past vacations. It was such a warm and heartfelt moment the kind you wish could last forever. The soothing sound of the falls in the background made the night even more special None of us wanted to sleep we just wanted to sit there and enjoy the serenity.

The next morning we went back to the falls early for another swim. That is when we saw something magical a rainbow forming through the mist as the sunlight touched the water. It was such a beautiful sight! The kids shouted in excitements and we all took pictures to capture that perfect moment. I realized then how blessed our country is with such stunning natural wonders.

We only stayed for three days, but it felt like we had created a lifetime of memories. On our last day as we packed our bags everyone was unusually quiet none of us wanted to leave.. The place was so peaceful and refreshing far from the noise and rush of the city.

On our way home o looked through our photos smiling at every memory. We were tired yes but in a good way happy content and grateful. Tinuy-an Falls truly lives up to its reputation as a paradise on earth.

As i think back on that trip one thing is certain it is a place worth visiting again and again. The beauty of the waterfalls the calm of nature and the laughter we shared as a family made it an unforgettable experience. Sometimes we just need moments like these away from the chaos to remind us how beautiful life really is.. 😀❤️😍

Like a view of the Niagara Falls in Philippines. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a short holiday with joy. Such a beautiful waterfall landscape, but the three-day trip presented to us all as an interesting beauty journey - thanks for sharing the fascinating sounds of such natural calm waterfalls in the unabashed green scenery.
