hey guys, what's up?

so yeah i just really wanted to share what life's like out here in the province seriously it's nothing like the city and i love it so much. you know how in the city you wake up to car horns and people rushing everywhere? here it's roosters crowing at the crack of dawn and the sound of coconut leaves rustling in the wind.

the air's so clean you can actually taste it like it has that fresh earthy smell after a light rain, plus the sweet scent of the hibiscus flowers that grow all around our house. it’s the kind of morning that just makes you smile without even trying.

we spend most of our days on our little farm my cousin takes care of the goats (they are so silly always butting heads with each other) and my mom and i grow veggies tomatoes, eggplants okra even some sweet potatoes. there’s something so cool about planting a tiny seed and watching it turn into food we can eat. last week i pulled out a huge pumpkin and everyone in the neighborhood wanted a slice that’s just how it is here..

evenings are my favorite part. when the sun goes down everyone comes out of their houses. we sit on our porch or head to mang kiko’s place bring some rice and viand and just hang out. we swap stories about our day, laugh at old jokes and sometimes the kids put on a little dance. nobody’s in a hurry to go home it’s all about being together.

yeah sure there are downsides. internet’s spotty sometimes, we have to drive 30 minutes to get to the nearest mall, and when it rains hard the roads get muddy. but honestly? the peace the fresh air, and knowing that everyone around you has your back that’s worth more than any city convenience.

anyway just wanted to give you all a little peek into how i live out here. it’s simple yeah but it’s the best life i could ask for. 😊

That’s so true @lolitaanana001 living in the province has a special kind of peace fresh air open spaces and that deep connection to nature that really soothes the soul. It reminds us to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life. There’s nothing quite like waking up to birds, greenery, and a calm environment...
