Our Quick Post-New Year Dip – Just 30 Mins Away!

We were so ready to chill after all the New Year celebration right? All that cooking cleaning up after relatives and staying up way too late counting down we needed something low effort but still fun. And boom Middleton Apartelle popped into our heads! It’s literally just a 30-minute ride from our place so we did not even have to pack crazy early or stress about long travel time.

Getting there was super smooth too no crazy traffic since everyone was probably still recovering from the holidays. When we pulled up that big sign with the Chinese characters and “MIDDLETON” on it was already making us feel excited. We have passed by it a bunch of times before but never actually went in and we were missing out!

The best part? It’s so convenient we did not have to plan much at all. Grabbed some towels, a few snacks and we were good to go. No need to bring a ton of stuff because they have got everything you might need on site even just basic things like extra chairs or water refills. Plus, since it’s close by if we forgot anything (which we totally did sunscreen!), we could’ve just run back home real quick. But thankfully they sell that stuff there too, so we did not have to bother.

The pool area was way nicer than we expected! The water was clear and cool perfect for beating that postJanuary heat that always creeps up on us here in Cdo. There were a few other people around, but it was not packed like those super popular resorts you have to book months in advance. We just found a spot by the fence set down our things and dove right in. Spent hours just floating around splashing each other and just… relaxing. No rush no agenda exactly what we needed after all the holiday hustle..

What’s even better is that since it’s nearby we did not have to worry about driving back tired at night. We stayed till late afternoon had some merienda at a small eatery just a few steps away then headed home when the sun started to set. By the time we got back we still had enough energy to unpack and even whip up a simple dinner.

Honestly sometimes you don’t need to go far to have a great time. This little pamamasyal reminded us that awesome spots can be right under our noses and nothing beats the convenience of not having to travel hours just to take a dip and unwind. We are already planning to go back soon maybe bring some more friends next time!
