Hello everyone! How are you all doing? I really want to share what happened to me this morning i planned to jog a bit but ended up walking more than running and i was all sweaty after! 😂😂😂 I passed by that rocky stream close to our house it’s just a short walk from here..

I left when the sun was just starting to rise. The sky was so pretty with soft yellow and light blue colors. The path goes through those hills we always see some parts have dry brown grass that crunches when you step on it and other spots are green with little plants growing.

I stopped to sit on a big flat rock because the view was amazing. You can see hills far away that look light purple and everything feels so quiet. Only birds were chirping and the wind was moving the grass around me. I sat there for maybe fifteen minutes just looking around and feeling calm..

As i kept walking the road got closer to the water. The dry hills turn into lots of trees with bright green leaves and you can hear the water running even before you get there. When i reached the stream, there were so many rocks everywhere small ones you can pick up and big ones that are like chairs. The water is clear you can see tiny stones and little fish swimming below. The sun shines on the water and makes it look like there are little lights bouncing around.

And you know what? There was a stray dog there! He’s white with brown spots on his face and ears and he looked a little thin but his eyes were so kind. He came out from under a wooden shelter someone put up near the water. He just stood there looking at me his tail wagging slow like he was shy. I felt bad because i did not bring any food for him so i just talked to him softly and he came closer to sniff my hand. He let me pat his head a little then he went to splash his paws in the shallow part of the stream. He looked so happy playing in the water he had chase the little ripples and then shake all the water off his fur! I stayed there watching him for a while and he even lay down on a warm rock to dry off in the sun.

While i was with the dog, i saw another person further down the stream they were walking in the water and laughing probably having fun too. The dog noticed them too and barked a little like he was saying hello..

On my way back home i took a different path that goes through a big grass field. And who did i see? One of our neighbor’s cows was just eating grass like it was no big deal! It lifted its head to look at me chewed for a bit, then went back to eating. It made me laugh because it looked so calm there in the middle of the field.

I thought about the stray dog the whole way back. I’m going to bring some food for him next time i go there. Sometimes we don’t notice the nice things near us but today i saw so much pretty hills clear water a sweet dog and even a cow just hanging out. It’s all right there, not far from our doors!
