A Peaceful Getaway at Duka Bay, Medina Misamis Oriental🏖️

Greetings to everyone! Hello @worldmappin,i hope you are all having a wonderful day. I’m here once again to share another memorable experience with my family. This time i will be talking about our trip to Duka Bay located in Medina, Misamis Oriental a place we have been wanting to visit for quite some time. Finally, that dream came true

We left our home early in the morning because it was quite a long drive about five hours of travel. At first the trip felt tiring, but as the saying goes “the journey is part of the adventure.” Along the way we enjoyed the beautiful scenery lush mountains wide rice fields and sparkling blue seas that seemed to dance under the sunlight. We also made a few stops to grab some snacks and stretch our legs which made the travel more fun and relaxing.

When we finally arrived at Duka Bay Resort, i immediately noticed how quiet and clean the place was. The surroundings were beautiful the water was crystal clear the air was fresh and the entire resort was well maintained. It instantly gave off a peaceful and refreshing vibe the kind that makes you forget about all the stress of daily life.

Upon our arrival the resort staff welcomed us warmly. They were polite and very accommodating. They led us to our cottage, where we would be staying overnight. The place was simple but very comfortable, neat, and cool. While unpacking i could not help but take a peek outside and admire the sea. The water was so clear that you could easily see the rocks and small fishes swimming beneath the surface.

We did not waste any time as soon as we settled in, we changed into our swimwear and headed straight to the beach. The water felt perfect not too cold not too warm. While swimming, all i could hear were the gentle waves and the joyful laughter of other guests around us. Some people were paddling boats others were snorkeling while a few just sat by the shore quietly admiring the peaceful view.

One of the things i loved most about Duka Bay was the sunset. It was absolutely stunning! As the sun slowly set on the horizon the sky turned into shades of orange pink and purple it felt like watching a live painting unfold before your eyes. I could not resist taking out my phone to capture every moment. Every few minutesvthe colors changed, and each one was more breathtaking than the last.

That evening, we enjoyed a simple dinner by the beach. The sound of the waves and the cool night breeze made the experience even more special. It was nice to just sit together as a family, sharing stories and laughter while gazing at the night sky.

Our short stay at Duka Bay was truly worth it. Even though the travel took five long hours every moment we spent there made it worthwhile. The place was peaceful clean and naturally beautiful a perfect spot to relax and reconnect with nature and loved ones.
