You know, it also bears fruit. Small hard yellow fruits will appear in autumn. you can eat them, make jam or add fresh slices to tea. Fruits are very aromatic and sour - sweet taste!
Quince jam/jelly I recall only ever eating once, cannot remember seeing the fruit. Thanks for additional information.
