A little talk to my younger self
I smiled when I saw India United prompt for the week, it made me remember my younger self and I was eager to write something.
But when I opened my notepad to write, I didn't know what to pen down at first.
I had to pause and think 🤔 how can I classify or place my childhood?
If I were to go back to being a child, would I love to live the life I grew up to?
How did I live my life? Was it cool to me? What were my challenges?
Would I be able to make a clean corrections?
All these questions popped on my head.
Growing up was super cool to me, yes I enjoyed my childhood experience of 0-12 years.
I was enrolled in the boarding school when I was little 🤔 I joined from my junior secondary one, that was when I was between the age of 11 and 12 years old.
I never liked nor enjoyed boarding house because it was like prison to me, we were just maltreated by both the seniors and teachers.
This made me to dislike secondary school so much, that doesn't mean I never had so cool amazing days.
Of course I was growing up, so I found ways to be happy despite the situation and believe me some situations are so funny, that when I remember them now I laugh out loud.

So to my mini me, those worries you would have between the age of 11 and 12 isn't worth it.
Be free, don't feel intimidated in any way.
Remember you are named Joy and you have to showcase happiness and joy always.
Hey, don't be shy because your shyness dims your light.
Don't trust, expect or rely on people too much.
I know you are young but just try to have this at the back of your mind, to avoid being hurt and broken.
Of course you will heal, but you might take the blow the wrong way, so precautions first.
Hey, don't rush to grow up take a gradual process and enjoy your young age.
Yes, you would enjoy a lot, explore when you are grown.
Don't pressure yourself, now there is no much responsibilities on your shoulder.
This is my response to India United prompt for the week.

Boarding school can be frustrating, I understand that feeling
Thank you very much ma'am
Awww, don’t worry I will build you a time machine so you go back to that age and say these profound words to her.
Waiting patiently for it then 😁
