Me ha pasado de estar caminado por las calles de mi ciudad en una mañana soleada, y al estar frente alguna proyección de sombras hacer una toma, y personas que están cerca o frente a mí, me mira con cara rara, como diciendo ¿Que está fotografiando esta persona? Y ver detenidamente hacia el lugar que apunta la cámara para llegar a comprender que estoy fotografiando, incluso he tenido conversaciones con personas extrañas que directamente me preguntan qué hay de interesante que merecía ser fotografiadas


It's happened to me that I've been walking through the streets of my city on a sunny morning, and when I'm facing a shadow projected by someone, I take a picture, and people who are near or in front of me look at me strangely, as if to say, "What is this person photographing?" And carefully observing the subject the camera is pointing at to understand what I'm photographing. I've even had conversations with strangers who directly ask me what's so interesting that it deserves to be photographed.

Esta es una oportunidad que se presenta para hablar de #hive, y lo interesante que es cuando tienes un lugar donde todos sienten pasión por este tipo de tomas, muchas personas al oír esto se sorprenden, pero en muchos otros casos, me encuentro con personas que me comentan que conocen a personas que hacen este tipo de fotografías y que es todo un universo


This is an opportunity to talk about #hive, and how interesting it is when you have a place where everyone is passionate about this type of photography. Many people are surprised to hear this, but in many other cases, I meet people who tell me they know others who take these kinds of photos and that it's a whole universe.

Esta modalidad de fotografías en las últimas décadas ha crecido mucho, sobre todo en la ¨pandemia¨ y después de ella, muchas personas que tenían un tiempo accedente, ocupaban su tiempo incursionando en la fotografía, y han sido capaces de descubrir grupos de personas que dedican el tiempo en hacer tomas de ¨sombras¨, por eso no me sorprende entrar al ¨feed¨ de la comunidad y ver cuántos post diarios se comparten en ¨Shadow-Hunters-Community¨:  


This type of photography has grown significantly in recent decades, especially during and after the pandemic. Many people with more free time have been exploring photography and have discovered groups of people who dedicate their time to taking "shadow" photos. Therefore, it doesn't surprise me to go to the community feed and see how many daily posts are shared in "Shadow-Hunters-Community":

Cuando hacemos tomas de ¨sombras¨ hay varios factores a tener presente, la posición del ¨sol¨ es uno de ello, el objeto que deseamos fotografiar es el otro, dado que dependiendo de su posición frente a los ¨rayos¨ del ¨sol¨, será la calidad de la proyección de ¨sombras¨ qué vamos a obtener, y otra cosa a tener presente, es no estar en la dirección del ¨sol¨ para no terminar en la fotografía de ¨sombras¨ que estamos tomando; es lo que nos pasó en esta última toma; como cazador hemos sido cazados en esta ¨cacería¨ de ¨sombras¨. Es maravilloso contar con nuestra ¨cámara¨ :  para inmortalizar estos bellos momentos


When taking "shadow" photos, there are several factors to keep in mind. The position of the "sun" is one, and the object we want to photograph is another, since the quality of the resulting "shadow" depends on its position relative to the sun's rays. Another thing to remember is to avoid being directly in front of the sun, otherwise you'll end up in the "shadow" photo. That's what happened to us in this last shot; as hunters, we've become the hunted in this "shadow" hunt. It's wonderful to have our camera to immortalize these beautiful moments

Buenas trades @jlufer. Desconocía que la fotografía de sombras se había puesto de moda durante la pandemia. También me sorprende que la gente se acerque y pregunte... por aquí es raro que ocurra algo así.

Dwe las fotografías me gustan mucho las de los columpios.

Las fotografías de sombras han existido desde que tengo memoria, lo que ha sucedido en Argentina es que tomaron más popularidad en esa época en que las personas tenían tiempo excedente, además, colaboro el auge de las redes sociales, donde las personas hacen fotografías para compartir en su estado

Esta popularidad en las redes ha creado controversias en las personas, están aquellas que no les importa que les tomen una fotografía, y las otras que sienten fobia de que las tomen una fotografía porque saben que las mayorías son para
compartir en las redes sociales, es por eso que las personas en las calles están pendiente de los que hacemos fotografías urbanas, sobre todo cuando tienes una cámara semi profesional que llaman la atención, por eso somos muy cuidadosos cuando salimos hacer fotografías urbanas, los correntinos son muy curiosos y quieren saber todo

Shadow photography has existed for as long as I can remember. What happened in Argentina is that it became more popular during a time when people had more free time. The rise of social media also contributed, as people take photos to share on their statuses.

This popularity on social media has created controversy. There are those who don't mind having their picture taken, and others who are phobic about it because they know most photos are meant to be shared on social media. That's why people on the street are aware of those of us who take urban photographs, especially when you have a semi-professional camera that attracts attention. That's why we're very careful when we go out to take urban photographs; the people of Corrientes are very curious and want to know everything.
