Es increíble como pasan los días, cuesta creer que era el momento de visitar esta genial ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨: para compartir con todos una nueva ¨experiencia¨ viendo a las aves que hacen sus vidas en los árboles que tenemos en el fondo de casa.
It's incredible how the days go by, it's hard to believe it was time to visit this great ¨Feathered FriendsCommunity¨: to share with everyone a new "experience" watching the birds that live their lives in the trees we have at the back of our house.

Como en esta región del mundo estamos en ¨invierno¨, las copas de los árboles están desprovista de hojas, y fue lo que me permitió descubrir a un ave que nunca antes lo había visto, se trata de una especie llamada ¨picabuey¨: lamentablemente solo le pude hacer una fotografía, el ave es extremadamente desconfiada y voló apenas vio mis movimientos
Since it's "winter" in this region of the world, the treetops are bare of leaves, and that's what allowed me to discover a bird I'd never seen before. It's a species called "oxpecker": Unfortunately, I was only able to take one photograph. The bird is extremely distrustful and flew away as soon as it saw my movements.

Como esta semana ha cambiado la consigna, prepare todo para poder fotografiar a alguna de las especies de aves que tenemos en el fondo entrando en el agua para darse un ¨baño¨, como la semana pasada resulto, tenía muchas esperanzas de lograrlo. La verdad que con mucha paciencia logre ver al ¨zorzal¨: disfrutando del agua frente a los ojos curiosos del ¨gorrión¨: que con algo de ¨envidia¨ observada como disfrutaba de un delicioso ¨baño¨
Since the instructions have changed this week, I prepared everything to be able to photograph some of the bird species we have in the background entering the water for a "bath." Esta semana tuve que viajar al centro de la ciudad por algunos ¨compromisos¨¨médicos¨ y tuve suerte de hacer unas tomas con mi ¨camara¨ : a las preciosas ¨palomas¨ : que acostumbran a estar en un ¨plaza¨ que tiene una gran fuente, y es muy posible que pueda logar que algunas de ellas estén disfrutando del agua
This week I had to travel to the city center for some "medical" commitments and I was lucky enough to take some shots with my "camera" : of the beautiful "doves" : that usually hang out in a "plaza" that has a large fountain, and it's quite possible that I'll be able to catch some of them enjoying the water

These are birds that always enjoy this area of the river, and I knew I could get some beautiful shots to participate in this wonderful ¨Show-Me-A-Photo-Contest¨: it makes me feel really good

Tienes excelentes fotos allí, hasta pareces encantador de aves. Me pareció simpatiquísimo el drama entre el gorrión y el zorzal, me sacó una sonrisa
El invierno realmente permite observar cosas que normalmente pasan desapercibidas.
Aunque solo hayas logrado una foto, ya es un gran logro considerando lo cautelosos que pueden ser los picabueyes.
Espero que tengas más oportunidades de fotografiar esa ave tan especial.
