En estos últimos años como estaba viejito le permitimos que se adueñara del living, nosotros pasamos a reunirnos en el comedor para no molestarlo y que pase cómodamente sentado o acostado en sillón. Hace tres noches mi esposa se levantó en la madrugara a verlo porque lo oímos toser, fue cuando lo encontró todo enroscado con una sábana en su cuello; ayer por la mañana se levantó decaído no queriendo comer y beber agua igual como el año pasado, la experiencia nos dijo que llamáramos al ¨veterinario¨, para cuando llego el profesional estaba afiebrado y un poco agitado, el ¨veterinario¨ le aplico dos ¨inyectables¨ y una receta con ¨medicaciones¨ para comprar.

Como todas las mañanas me senté frente a la pc para hacer mis cosas en #hive, luego mi esposa me llamo para desayunar, pero antes pase por el living para verlo, pero no lo encontré, entonces sali a buscarlo y estaba en el portón de adelante viendo para todos lados; tenía los ojos extraños, hinchado, como si se esforzara para ver, su expresión era de tristeza y trataba de mover su boca, como si me quisiera decir algo, le llame por su nombre y levanto su mirada, ahí vi en su mandíbula algunas venas hinchadas cerca de la boca, como si estaba haciendo fuerza. Esta situación lo hable con mi esposa, y para comprobar salió tras el para ver lo que sucedía, lo encontró en la misma posición con los ojos abiertos pero esta vez sin vida. Nunca voy a olvidar su rostro, su mirada, y la forma que movió su boca como queriendo decir algo, ahora sé que fue su despedida. Llegamos a la conclusión que esa noche se asustó mucho cuando se enredó con la sabana y tuvo un infarto, y todo lo que siguió fue la consecuencia. También soy consciente que ya tenía quince años y se encontraba viejito; no se imaginan cuanto dolor siento, lloro y me duele el alma

I'll never forget his face, his gaze, and the way his mouth moved as if he wanted to say something. Now I know it was his farewell. We came to the conclusion that he got really scared that night when he got tangled in the sheets and had a heart attack, and everything that followed was the consequence. I'm also aware that he was already fifteen years old and felt quite old; you can't imagine how much pain I feel. I cry and my soul aches.

Cuanto lo lamento mi querido amigo!
Recuerdo que el año pasado hablamos sobre el contratiempo que había ocurrido con tu perrito y que lo habían operado con éxito.
Entiendo tu dolor y tu tristeza y el de toda tu familia ya que el era simplemente parte de la familia, y esta partida es sin dudas una gran pérdida para la familia entera.
Hagan el duelo, lloren y recuerdenlo siempre! Pronto vendrán los lindos recuerdos y esa tristeza se transformará en lindas anécdotas.
