How are all the passionate followers of this great ¨Amazing¨-¨nature¨-¨AN¨-¨Community¨: ? I think you all already know about my love for ¨nature¨: , and my ¨scientific¨ walks: , maybe some of you even remember that my love for it began in a neighborhood where I grew up, whose ¨quality¨ was the great ¨vegetation¨ that surrounded the neighborhood; The years I lived there were unforgettable. The explorations we did in the forests were true adventures.

I have to take a daily walk, so, unless I have any prior commitments, I like to walk around the reserve a few blocks from my house. When I walk through the "meadow" it brings back many memories of those beautiful years I lived in that beloved "little town"; This week on my photo walk:  I was able to photograph this beautiful plant:  whose "flowers" remind me of the ones I saw in the neighborhood where I grew up.

¨Cicadidae¨:

When I found this beautiful ¨insect¨:  it is as if my mind was ¨transported¨ in time, to those moments when the ¨aromas¨ of the ¨watermelon¨:  ¨perfumed¨ the streets, and the song of the ¨cicadas¨:  reminded me that we were in the last month of the year. Something that always caught my attention was that when I heard this ¨insect¨:  it was a sign that we would soon see the ¨fruits¨: .

¨Tropidurus¨-¨torquatus¨:

All the species we saw on this ¨scientific¨ walk:  brought back pleasant memories of my childhood; the ¨teyu¨:  were our companions on the ¨siesta¨:  the only ones who were out at those times, because at that time people used to rest. How great it is to always have our ¨camera¨ :  with us to photograph the things we encounter during these interesting walks
