Últimamente me estoy decepcionado seguido, no hace mucho en mi país escogimos un nuevo mandatario con la esperanza de que las cosas mejoren, lo cierto es que no ha mejorado nada. Recordaran que hace un año atrás me quejaba porque no autorizaban los pedidos de estudios y que teníamos que volver un par de veces por ellos, ahora está peor, esta semana es la cuarta visita que hice al ¨ministerio¨ de ¨Salud¨, y la autorización del estudio para mi ojo derecho no lo firman; lo mismo está sucediendo con la ¨pensión¨ llevo esperando hace cuatro años que la firmen. Es la primera vez en mi vida que me he equivocado tanto a la hora de dar mi voto a un presidente


I've been feeling quite disappointed lately. Not long ago, my country elected a new president hoping things would improve, but the truth is, nothing has. You might remember that a year ago I was complaining because they weren't authorizing requests for medical tests and we had to go back a couple of times for them. Now it's worse. This week is my fourth visit to the Ministry of Health, and they still haven't signed the authorization for the test for my right eye. The same thing is happening with my pension; I've been waiting for four years for them to sign it. It is the first time in my life that I have been so wrong when it came to giving my vote to a president

Después de llevarme la decepción del día decidí caminar para ¨equilibrar¨ las ¨emociones¨, y una manera practica de hacerlo es con una caminata fotográfica. Curiosamente y sin intención pase por la esquina de esta preciosa iglesia, y como saben su estructura y vivo color me gusta mucho, por eso no lo puede evitar hacer estas preciosas fotografías


After experiencing the day's disappointment, I decided to take a walk to "balance" my "emotions," and a practical way to do this is with a photo walk. Curiously and unintentionally, I passed by the corner of this beautiful church, and as you know, I really like its structure and vibrant color, so I couldn't resist taking these lovely photographs.

La verdad que la arquitectura de la iglesia no es nada extraordinaria, pero tiene algo que me llama mucho la atención y ni puedo pasar cerca de ella sin tomarle unas fotografías. Los paseos ¨fotográficos¨:  que hacemos en esta zona siempre son hermosos y muy divertidos; Una caminata por esta zana de la ciudad resulta necesario cuando tienes un día decepcionarte como el de hoy


The truth is, the church's architecture isn't anything extraordinary, but there's something about it that really catches my eye, and I can't even pass by it without taking some pictures."photographic": we take in this area are always beautiful and a lot of fun; a walk through this part of the city is necessary when you're having a disappointing day like today.

Es evidente que durante la noche ha estado lloviendo, en algunos lugares de la ciudad aun había charcos de aguas, algo realmente genial para un ¨cazador¨ de ¨reflejos¨ como yo, que basta dar con un charco para fotografiar con nuestra ¨cámara¨ :  los hermosos reflejos que podemos ver en ellos


It's clear that it rained during the night. In some parts of the city, there were still puddles, which is really great for a "reflection hunter" like me. All it takes is finding a puddle to photograph the beautiful reflections we can see in them with our "camera" :
