Curiosamente hace algunos días me crucé con un hermoso mural alusivo a unos de los hechos que jamás tuvo que haber pasado, y estando frente al mural recordé como había sido ese día 2 de abril hace cuarenta y tres años atrás


Curiously, a few days ago I came across a beautiful mural alluding to one of the events that should never have happened, and standing in front of it mural I remembered what that day, April 2nd, had been like forty-three years ago

En el año 1982 vivía los mejores días de mi adolescencia, imagínate a un joven de 14 años de edad en una bicicleta nueva yendo a la escuela técnica; en el camino me cruce con muchos ¨camiones¨ del ¨Ejercito¨ repletos de soldados, pero como vivo en una ciudad donde tenemos muy cerca tres fronteras no me llamo tanto la atención, supuse que algo estaba sucediendo, algunas horas más tarde y como muchos de mis compañeros estábamos sorprendido por el inicio de la ¨Guerra-de-las-Malvinas¨: 


In 1982 I was living the best days of my adolescence, imagine a 14-year-old boy on a new bicycle going to technical school; On the way I came across many "Army" trucks full of soldiers, but since I live in a city with three borders very close, it didn't attract my attention so much, I assumed something was happening. A few hours later, and like many of my companions, I was surprised by the start of the ¨Guerra-de-las-Malvinas¨:

Para cuando sali de mi asombro me encontraba en un gran galpón con muchos de mis compañeros cantando ¨canciones¨¨patrias¨, de fondo se podía oír el funcionamiento de muchas maquinarias que estaban siendo utilizadas, el mayor de los ruidos venía de mis manos de los golpes que daba con el martillo sobre el hierro al momento de hacer los ¨miguelitos¨, aquellos que íbamos a mandar al ¨campo¨ de ¨batalla¨. Los canticos y los ruidos se oían mientras observaba a este mural tan significativo y mensaje contundente ¨Las-Malvinas-son-argentinas-¡hoy-y-siempre!¨: 


By the time I came out of my stupor, I found myself in a large shed with many of my classmates singing. "patriotic" songs, in the background you could hear the operation of many machines that were being used, the biggest noise came from my hands from the blows I gave with the hammer on the iron when making the "miguelitos", those that we were going to send to the "battle" "field". The chants and noises could be heard as I looked at this significant mural and its powerful message. ¨Las-Malvinas-son-argentinas-¡hoy-y-siempre!¨:

El 2 de abril se conmemora el ¨Día-del-Veterano-y-de-los-Caídos-en-la-Guerra-de-Malvinas¨: y así el artista bajo el seudónimo ¨Ariosto¨ recuerda los sucesos que sucedieron hace 43 años con el mensaje recordatorio contundente ¨Las-Malvinas-son-argentinas-¡hoy-y-siempre!¨:  Que alegría haber hallado este significativo mural y poder compartir en este maravilloso ¨CCC's Street Art Contest¨:  Muy agradecido de salir siempre de casa con nuestra ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ para fotografiar estos momentos muy emotivos


April 2 commemorates the ¨Veteran's-Day-and-of-the-Fallen-in-the-Malvinas-War¨: and so the artist under the pseudonym ¨Ariosto¨ remembers the events that happened 43 years ago with the forceful reminder message ¨The-Malvinas-are-Argentine-today-and-always!¨:  What a joy to have found this significant mural and to be able to share in this wonderful ¨CCC's Street Art Contest¨:  Very grateful to always leave the house with our ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ to photograph these very emotional moments

Beautiful work that recalls this war. It must still be a sensitive subject in Argentina? I never hear about it in Canada. Thanks for sharing these pics and history about your country on The StreetArt Community.

Ha sido un regocijo y disfrute transitar por esta nutrida y excelsa publicación, llena de sustancia discursiva, con fragmentos históricos que como líneas del tiempo, refuerzan un pasado que ha generado identidad nacional y es en este escenario la columna medular de tu mural urbano.
