Today I woke up, prepared myself a cup of coffee, fed my pets and went out to the threshold of my garage to observe the street. The morning felt dense, the sunlight was constantly changing its intensity due to the clouds that hovered over the town in an anarchic manner. A couple of blocks from my house I could see the debris lying on the street, belonging to an old wall that fell during yesterday's downpour at noon. The roar shook the whole neighborhood and made many people go out to the street to see what had happened... That was my dawn here today Thursday and that's how I decided to go out for a walk taking my camera with me...

Hoy desperté, me preparé una taza de café, di de comer a mis mascotas y salí hasta el umbral de mi garaje a observar la calle. La mañana se sentía densa, la luz del sol cambiaba constantemente su itensidad debido a las nubes que cernían sobre el pueblo de manera anárquica. A un par de cuadras de mi casa pude apreciar los escombros tirados en la calle, pertenecientes a una vieja pared la cual cayó durante el aguacero ocurrido ayer al mediodía. El estruendo sacudió todo el vecindario e hizo que muchas personas salieran a la calle a mirar lo ocurrido... Así fue mi amanecer de hoy Jueves aquí y así fue como decidí salir caminar un poco llevando conmigo mi cámara...

It's interesting, but I instinctively took photos with the idea of not cropping them when processing and editing them, and I realized this once I was sitting in front of my PC dedicated to work on these photos... I surprised myself by going from horizontal to vertical shots with freedom, the same applies for open shots to close details. Today I carried a 50mm fixed lens, so the zoom was my own feet... Today I felt while working on my photos, as if I had been a person in the streets capturing what is happening there, and this one in front of the PC was a different one... Very curious indeed...

Es curioso, pero de manera instintiva hice fotos teniendo en mente no recortarlas al momento de procesarlas y editarlas, y me percaté de esto una vez sentado en frente de mi PC dedicado a trabajar estas fotografías... Me sorprendí a mi mismo yendo entre capturas horizontales a verticales con libertad, lo mismo aplica para tomas abiertas hasta detalles cercanos. Hoy llevé un lente fijo de 50mm, así que el zoom eran mis mismos pies... Hoy sentí mientras trabajaba en mis fotos, como si hubiese yo sido una persona en las calles capturando lo que allí ocurre, y este que estaba en frente la PC fuese otro distinto... Muy curioso, ciertamente...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
