Yesterday I went to the hills northwest of town with the intention of taking photos of insects and plants (you can see those photos by CLICKING HERE)... But, on my way to those hills, I found so many things to photograph in the streets that I was about to cancel my nature walk and dedicate myself to taking street photos. However I didn't do that, but I did make the most of my street route to the outskirts of town and took a lot of pictures from which I made a small selection and those are the photos I am sharing with you today here on #Hive...

Ayer fui a las colinas al noroeste del pueblo con la intención de hacer fotografías de insectos y plantas (puedes ver esas fotos haciendo CLICK AQUI) pero, en mi recorrido hacia esas colinas, encontré tantas cosas para fotografiar en las calles que estuve a punto de posponer mi caminata en la naturaleza y dedicarme a hacer fotos callejeras. Sin embargo no lo hice así, pero sí que aproveché al máximo mi ruta callejera hacia las afueras del pueblo e hice un montón de fotografías de entre las cuales hice una pequeña selección y esas son las fotos que estoy compartiendo con ustedes hoy aquí en #Hive...

Yes, all these photos took place in a little more than 15 streets which separate my house from the edge of town where the houses end and the hills full of nature begin. I tried not to stop except to take some of these photos although some of them were taken walking. They are my usual photos, although unexpected... I don't know, I guess that carrying in my head the decision to go to the countryside to take pictures of bugs and plants, made me unprepared to find so many “pictures happening” at the same time in the handful of streets I thought I would walk until leaving the village behind... But that's also the beauty of this hobby of taking street photos: “the unexpected happening in the everyday”...

Sí, todas estas fotos ocurrieron en un poco más de 15 calles las cuales separan mi casa de las márgenes del pueblo en donde terminan las casas y comienzan las colinas repletas de naturaleza. Procuré no detenerme salvo para hacer algunas de estas fotos aunque buna parte de ellas las hice caminando incluso. Son mis fotos de siempre, aunque inesperadas... No sé, supongo que llevar en mi cabeza la decisión de ir al campo a hacer fotos de bichos y plantas, me hizo no estar preparado para encontrar tantas "fotos ocurriendo" al mismo tiempo en el puñado de calles que pensé recorrer hasta dejar atrás el pueblo... Pero eso es también lo lindo de esta afición por hacer fotos callejeras: "lo inesperado sucediendo en lo cotidiano"...

Yes, and there are a lot of dogs and a lot of cats as usual, then they dominate the lens of my camera, and it is almost impossible to pass by without taking a picture of them. That's how it is, the streets are full of these curious beings which seem to inhabit the spaces almost with more force and presence than some of the people I meet...

Si, y hay un montón de perros y otro montón de gatos como siempre, entonces ellos se adueñan del lente de mi cámara, y es casi imposible pasar de largo sin hacerles una fotografía. Así es esto, son unas calles repletas de estos curiosos seres los cuales parecen habitar los espacios casi con más fuerza y presencia que algunas de las personas que encuentro...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
