As most of those who follow and frequent my publications will know (thanks for that guys) the place where I live and actually our whole country, has been affected for years by various problems ranging from social, economic to political and an exodus of inhabitants which leaves towns like these with fewer and fewer people...

So, what I have most at hand to photograph are these streets whose scenes speak very clearly of what is going on here. Obviously I also have nature, landscapes and fauna at my fingertips, but I think that almost 80% of my photographic work is developed in these streets that surround me. And I do this because of the "psychological charge" that street photography imposes on places like this. Something that, as you can guess, I love... (Maybe I'm a kind of "frustrated dramaturge" and I'm compensating for this through photography 😂).

This is my first post under "STREET WITNESS" format and I want to use this one to share my street photos under a mostly photographic approach, although as always I will be adding some experiential comments about it, as that is something practically innate in me and it would be very difficult for me to create an article without it.

I have made a habit of recording in my street photographs the way in which the town is inexorably dwindling. Therefore, the titles I place on these images have a profound relationship to what I perceive and experience here. That means that in a way "I also reflect myself in these photos".
